Bonobo Cafe

A very good cafe that serves vegan food and desserts. Throughout the years, I’ve tried a lot of items on their menu and none has ever disappointed me. I really like that they have different drinks of the day and it’s nice that the outside seating area is so comfy. You’ll even get to see Mickey the cat!

The interiors are stunning. Feels refreshing. The little cat that they have is really adorable. They have good food, all vegan, however, the options are quite limited. I understand that happens when you visit a vegan place, but perhaps having options for Beyond Meat, No Chicken burgers etc. would really add more to the menu. The staff are lovely, but on one of my visits I had to wait for 10-15 minutes just to be waited on. Could have been a one time thing. But this is definitely a lovely cafe to go for brunch. Do visit if you're looking for a Gram-worthy cafe in Aberdeen.

7 stars A wonderful quaint and bohemian style vegan cafe, with an in-house guest-Mickey the Cat. He’s simple adorable gentle and so cute. Best addition to the cafe. The upstairs garden patio is an eclectic collection of hand painted wall murals beautifully decorated artefacts and intricately printed cloth canopies. Giving the whole place a cosy warm and comfortable atmosphere. Surrounded by lots of plants the whole place is an oasis in the heart of the city. Wonderful selection of teas coffees and healthy drinks and good food and desserts too. Would love to come back again. Hope they stay the same if we ever return to Aberdeen 🥰

My favourite local haunt. Most seating is in their rooftop garden, which is covered and has heaters so suitable even in cold/rainy weather. Always a good choice of baked goods to go with your drink if you are just stopping for a treat. Breakfast and lunch also available. Mickey the cat lives in their garden and stops by for pets frequently ☺️

This food is so so so delicious and honestly so pretty. A lot of the seating is outside but there are heat lamps and somehow it smells really good out there too. There is a resident cat who is phenomenal. The waitstaff is truly wonderful. You pay at the table right when you order and all of the food is so good. Even if you aren't vegan this is just top tier food period.

It's a nice cafe which is completely vegan. There's an upstairs seating area as well as an outdoor seating area which is nice on sunny days. However there's not a lot seats so can sometimes struggle for a table, but you can take away so there's that option too. Food is good and reasonably priced. I'd suggest going early in the day as they can sell out of options quite quickly, so might not get what you want.
