We had a team dinner. Good food, friendly staff. They also had an offer if you were to order food before 6.30. Multi story parking very close by. Great place, I wud strongly recommend.

Was here as part of a large group for lunch. Had a lovely room away from the public area which allowed us time to spend together in a relaxed atmosphere. My lunch was lovely. Fish pie and really good cheese board. I know some were slightly disappointed with lack of vegetables. Service was attentive, friendly and excellent.

Loved it! The food is incredible! And prices are decent! I managed to have a Haggis starter as well!

Amazing food and affordable. We had the veggie haggis, stabbed mussels, battered haddock and squash risotto. Service was friendly and quick. And the food was worth every penny. If we ever make it back, we'll definitely visit Howies restaurant again 😊
(Edit: steamed mussels, of course. Though who am I to say what they did before they landed on my plate.)

Fantastic Scottish dining.
We attended a graduation meal there with a group of people. All the food was really good. In particular the pork stuffed with black pudding. Main courses were generous portions. The service was faultless also.
Great to have a separate private room fir gatherings like that one.

Howies is a great resturant with a relaxed approach to your meal. The staff are great at what they do and able to chat pleasantly when taking the tables order, checking everything is okay during the meal and when checking for drinks.
A really good experience, wonderful food and large eating area where you don't feel cramped with little room to move about.

Good was great and service was very quick, only had to wait 10mins for each course to come out. Big portions too which is great. They offer a deal for 2 course meals before 6:30pm for £14.95 which is great value for money. Also their menu shows the allergies for each dish which is clear and helpful.

Cosy place, friendly people and good food. The creamy smoky fish soup is definitely suggested.

Went there for the last evening of my Scotland trip and had an amazing meal. The lamb was one of the best I ever had. Everything else was great too. Staff superfriendly and nice. Early evening dinner got us a really good price. Good selection of whiskey and craft beer.
