Lairhillock Inn & Crynoch Restaurant

I want to write and thank Lairhillock Inn for a fabulous meal over the weekend. The whole family came from far and wide and the food and service made the trip worth it. Everyone commented how wonderful and generous the food was. I especially want to thank them for accommodating my vegan diet. The food was delicious (and not a mushroom risotto in sight). I especially liked the homemade pineapple and chilli sorbet. Thanks

It is a lovely country pub and restaurant. Hidden gem. I have been dining here for many years and both food and service are always excellent. Portions are of a good size and well cooked. Menu is simple. I like the idea of the specials board. They have kids menu, too. Decor wise it is a bit dated but still feels cosy. Love the old large square log fire in the middle of the main room. lovely lunch My friend and I had a very enjoyable lunch. The restaurant and conservatory offer a great venue, and are worth a visit even though you may have a drive as it is a bit off the main road. Last time I visited I had the sea bass which was a special and served on a bed of risotto with asparagus that was lightly steamed. Delicious and I can't wait to return.
