First class meal (carry out) particularly the chicken sweetcorn soup which was like a meal on it's own, it was full of tender chicken pieces with a perfect texture, not gloopy at all, smoked chicken and fried noodles also! And to top it all the staff were very helpful, smiley and friendly! Cannot fault it at all! 5 star in my book.

Great tasting authentic northern style chinese food available. A buffet (more asian-westernize food) is also available. Two different menus which satisfies both types of palates. Comfortable venue which also serves alcohol.

The most authentic Chinese food I've had in Aberdeen. Comparable to the Chinese food I had in mainland China during my 8 years there. The Sichuan fish us big enough for at least two people. The salted egg prawns are great too. Only accepts cash.

We went for the first time, staff friendly and very helpful, food was excellent couldn't fault it, cooked to order u can order as much as you like would highly recommend it.

What's is there not to like about the Water Margin. Firstly an all you can eat freshly cooked and served to your table Chinese buffet of anything or everything on the menu. Secondly every time we have been there the staff have been welcoming and helpful with what we need and any special requests.
We can understand why this place is always quiet as the quality of food is great and at such a good value and we normally go in with several people and share all the starters and after that we pick a couple of mains to share. We have been multiple times and normally take others with us to show them where it is and no one ever leave still wanting more.
Well worth a visit and I know once you have been you will go bad again and again

Water Margin is fantastic! We were in Aberdeen for a conference and stumbled upon this amazing little treasure. Caroline was delightful as our hostess. The food, start to finish, was extraordinary. We had a great time! Don't miss out on this experience.

Excellent value for money, food really tasty and freshly cooked. Calls it a 'buffet' but in reality it is a fixed price 'eat what you wish' from the LARGE selection of dishes on the menu. Certainly would recommend visiting.
