Famous Dave's Bar-b-que

Since food was great, the service friendly, and the atmosphere pleasant. It's been years since I last been to a Famous Dave's (as the one by me closed a while back). Since I was in the area, I had to get some, and I was not disappointed! I ordered the feast for 2. Ribs, chicken, brisket, a couple sides, ect. It was just as good as it has always been. Everything had flavor. It was cooked well, and plenty of choices to choose from. Although it's out of my way, I'll definitely come back (even if only for pickup). If I had to say anything negative, it would have to be about the beer. I ordered a tall Dos XX, and it somewhat tasted watered down. The waitress (Thais) was excellent. She did a great job, answered our questions, always asked if we needed anything but not to the point where it felt it was asked to many times, and promptly gave us our food when it was ready. The atmosphere wasn't as great as the old location by me, however, it was still pleasant. Makes me wish there was a closer location because Famous Dave's was always a go-to spot for my family and I. I definitely recommend. I'll definitely will be back.

I wish you could enjoy the experience of walking in the door and getting smacked in the face with the delicious smells. This is not my first trip to Famous Dave’s in Addison IL but the first on a Memorial Day holiday. Awesome atmosphere of family style seating or small tables. Service was stellar getting your food prepared while we enjoyed great conversation and laughter with Betty (our wonderful waitress). We tried all three barbeque sauces. My favorite sauce is Devil’s Spit! This is a must stop if you don’t feel like hovering over the grill sweating and cooking! Just sit down and pig out!
