The Jerusalem Sheshkabab House

Simple delicious food for a reasonable price. I had the standard mixed platter which came with minced beef koftas, falafels, hummus, pita and salad. It was no fuss, simple food but so flavourful. The hummus and pita were perfect. The falafels were my favourite. Its a dimly lit hole in the wall between two sheesha shops. The interior gives you a little bit of an authentic vibe. Perfect place to stop by for a good meal followed by sheesha. Will definitely return for more! (Just know that payment my card isn't accepted)

Consistently delicious, quick food delivery, and the entire place is run by one chef and one waiter on the floor. Best falafel in adelaide. Best beans and rice in adelaide. Best hummus in adelaide. Best baklava. Best everything! Do yourself a favour and come het and get a bargain banquet for $25 with free BYO!

Had banquet, meat tasty but rest a bit bland. Disapointed with service as after 12 of us paid $25 a head we decided to make room for waiting diners and finish our drinks on the outside tables. We were then rudely told by several staff to move along without any explanation. I guess they already had our money so we were no longer welcome.

I was really looking forward to eating here again but I think I was expecting too much from nostalgia. Jerusalem was the first Lebanese restaurant I ever went to back 40 years ago and it and Quiet Waters became an institution for us Uni students. After all that time the overall standard and availablity of Lebanese food has increased dramatically and Jerusalem is just average now and not special. I still liked it, but nothing to rave about anymore.
