Another brilliant feed and beer 🍺. Great on-street setting, and neat tables to sit at. You can't beet the 3 hard chilli tacos after a hardship day work.

Last night after a long day at work I bought an Enchillada with “slow cook beef” take away. When I got home I found that they only put rice and beans. There was not a single piece of meat. Pay $15 for a rice and beans. I was a frequent customer of Guzmán y Gómez but I will never return to this place.

Service was SLOW.
I only ordered 2 classic burritos.. One was ready and put in the take away bag, the second was ready shortly after however left on the bench, while the staffs joked and hugged at the prepping area not giving a f. It was not even busy, just 2 clients after me.

We used to really enjoy food from GYG but lately it's appalling. You call this a medium chips? Food cold, tiny taco that wouldn't feed a child. Do better GYG!

The guy serving us gave us attitude and was frustrated at having to ask us minor details to our order. We’ve never eaten here before so didn’t understand how it all worked and felt rushed trying to order and understand the menu. I asked and paid for double sour cream on nachos and got maybe half a teaspoon of white drizzle throughout. Most the nachos was all beans which I don’t eat and there wasn’t many actual nachos, so I was eating most of it with a fork. Worst nachos I’ve ever experienced and pretty poor customer service.

This is my favourite Mexican place and I am partial to the Nachos Fries with all the trimmings coriander, habanaro sauce, jalapenos, extra onions, tomato salsa, extra sour cream and avocados. I also like the burrito and quesidillas. I often frequent the one in the city. Food is above excellent, staff friendly and customer service par excellence. Restaurant is clean and tidy and decor is spectacular (love the Mexican tiles).

Our order was lost, we were given a hand written order number that was same as another customer that caused awkward moment. Then had to reorder and wait, Well computers to blame, but 2 star is purely based out of food taste.
Ordered a quesadilla and a bowl both on grilled chicken protein.
Rice was hard and dry like how stale rice gets when left uncovered or may be it was just undercooked.
Chicken was charred bitter, left longer on grill than needed.
Sad part is both these things don't go unnoticed, but the staff chose to still use it.
Not happy 😒..
