Monday's Coffee Store

First impressions when I walked in: casual, cosy, a good sense of cafe culture and vibe. Coffee was excellent, and the food; classic and simple brunch; delicious! The beetroot hummus in particular was exquisite, but I feel like you couldn't go wrong with anything here. Only thing I would change: maybe a sharper knife? Overall though can definitely recommend this gem!

I DON KNOW WHY, BUT JUST FEEL UNFAIR. Heard this place for a long time ago. Its our first time to Adelaide, and we went to this place straight away. 1 star for food which is good. 0 star for service. I don’t know why, maybe due to the new face? So we got the different services?? There were 5 customers ordered after us, and ALL got there drink and food first. We got drinks until others almost finished. And also get their food before us, even we ordered the SAME drink and food. Everyone had been served water, except us, its okay for me to get our water by ourselves. But just feel different. We paid same price, but get diffident service. Now the lady after us just finished, we still waiting. I DON KNOW WHY, BUT JUST FEEL UNFAIR. NOT RECOMMENDED

Almost 4 stars, but not quite right. Seemed as visitors/newbies we were bit underappreciated to the staff. Staff seem to have their regulars and friends (who they're friendly with), others are just seen as dollar signs. Museli was nice, but I was charged $10 when it's $9 on the menu. Eggs, halloumi and avo on toast was excellent. Not a fan of the hipster "we serve your food using camping bowls and plates" rather than real crockery. $5 for a cup, not a pot, of green tea seems expensive.
