Doaba Indian Restaurant And Bar

Somehow we ordered three different curries and save for the colour they were as bland and tasteless as each other. The meat (goat) was poor quality and they even managed to screw up rice with peas. Its rice with peas. Why is it so greasy? The cauliflower puffs were dry with a powdery texture saved only by the sweet sauce. Move along and find somewhere better.

Seems to be hit and miss at this place. The last time we visited Adelaide and ordered from Doaba the food was really good. This time it was quite poor and there were long black hairs in one of the curries. We ordered butter chicken, tikka, naan, and rice. Naan was dry and chewy, rice was dry and had a funny smell, and the curries were bland and tasted a little off. I doubt we'll order from here again.

WORST INDIAN EVER, food was disgusting, papadams and nann were stail like days old stail. Butter chicken and chicken tikka had horrible taste and chewy. Lamb vindaloo came as beef. Containers had holes and leaked everywhere. 27 weeks pregnant and spent $101 for my family to feel very sick and through it in the bin. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Disappointed is an understatement, if you wish to waste your money to get sick, this is your kinda place....

Worst customer service ever. Lady owner has no manner on how to deal with customers. We spent 60$ on food . Chicken and goat curry had no taste and seemed like was preserved for a while. The owner refused to even replace the meals. Tried it for the first and last time. If you looking to waste your money,please try this ridiculous restaurant. Had no rating below 1 so gave 1 as the minimum. You guys should first learn some basic manners before opening a restaurant.

Best Indian cuisine in Adelaide, and we've tried them all. We walked into this modest looking place 6 months ago without any expectations and we loved it! Since then we've been back many times. They use the freshest ingredients and plenty of aromatic spices. The serves are large and the prices half of what you'll pay in Unley. Try their Vegetable Biryani Rice...delightfully colourful and very, very nice.

Not big on Indian food but have stuffed sinuses and everyone suggested spice. They delivered food 20minutes before eta (woohoo!) Restaurant told the driver the wrong address (I checked my online order I had entered my address correct) but he rang me and was very polite and apologetic about it all. Im quite spice sensitive and requested a small tub of yoghurt in the notes (wasnt on menu) and they are the first Indian restaurant ever to fulfill this request! Naan bread was a decent size and yummy. Note: large rice is large if youve only ordered one meal you will most likely not need a large rice 😂😂 I selected mild butter chicken and was surprised that it wasnt as spicey as half the others I have ordered from other places in the past (thank you!!! 😁😁) To meet the price range I added another random thing for like $1.50, looked like a pancake. Wasnt a fan! But good to try new things 😂 Great service, happy with the food servings and quality. Certainly saves a lot of stress being sick and not having to cook.

I'm so so sad right now. I was really looking forward to this, but it was THE WORST Indian food I have ever eaten. Absolutely dreadful. Dahl was almost pure liquid, and very little flavour, veg korma was disgusting, not anything even similar to any korma I've ever eaten before. Tasted a bit like some instant Indian you might buy in a packet at the supermarket. No, not that good actually. Roti was cold and not fresh. The rice was ok I guess...
