Pavona's Pizza Joint

Stopped in on Wednesday night for the guest bartender night and my food and drinks were awesome!!! The pizzas and salads are delicious!! The garlic knots were fluffy pillows of yum. Can’t wait to go back. Love that they support first responders! I will definitely give this local spot my family’s business from now on. Disclaimer: this is a wood fired pizza joint the pizza is made exactly how a Neapolitan pizza should be made, char and all! If you don’t like authentic Neapolitan pies then this pizza may not be the place for you. However we will continue to enjoy it!! 💙🖤

$0.20 added to ea $5 special and they added 4% to the bill for "taxes" but actually a credit card fee before you pay so you're paying a credit card fee even if you pay cash super shady. The waitress never came back after she gave us our pizza and my pizza came out messed up. The dough formed a huge bubble so there was nothing on 2 of the 4 pieces. The pizza was just ok. The wine was not good. I tried the house blend white and house blend red. The red was terrible

Authentic flavor without overpowering sauces. I tried the Diablo pizza with added chicken. I loved the hot and savory sauce and the pizza was loaded with jalapenos. This might not be appropriate for people who cannot eat hot dishes. The pizza place is small and cozy. Might get crowded at weekends and night because of the pub inside. The only con I felt is you need to be double sure of the prices. When I wanted to add chicken to the pizza, the server mentioned the cost which was less than the menu. But the cheque had the price of the menu.

My first experience was good but I just ate here today. The server was clueless, they were out of everything and more importantly..the display of their personal politics all over the walls and ceiling were intrusive. I'm all for believing in what you want but it was ridiculous. Let me also mention the yahoos who were letting their kid hang from some metal bars on the outdoor patio. You couldn't enjoy your dinner if you wanted to. We were so stressed thinking the kid was going to fall and crack his face open yet the adults were talking a video of it all. This review says it all. Never ever ever going there again.

First time eating here. I called in a pizza at 7:30pm and was told it would be ready by 8pm. I arrived at 8 and was told my pizza was in the back that they would have to get it. 10 minutes later the girl said again, the pizza was in the back that she had to get it. A few minutes later the guy making the pizza's started to make my pizza. It wasn't even made yet so I don't know why she told me twice it was in the back. While I was waiting another couple came in to pick up their order. They had not started their order either and had to wait. One of the employees had long hair and I would have preferred it was in a ponytail or put up not hanging all over the place with the potential of getting into the food. I watched the cook put several pizzas on the counter he had cooked. The pizza's sat there for at least 7 to 10 minutes before anyone cut them up and delivered them to the tables. They had to have been cold. The cost of this large pepperoni was just under $23.00! That's quite expensive for what it is. Which was a lot of dough and a little over cooked. Seemed like poor service all around and the price for a pizza was too high. There are other more reasonable places in the area so I doubt I'll be back.
