The Grille On Waterloo

Ordered for take out. Service was fast and our food was ready within 20 minutes of ordering. Sushi was surprisingly good and something I would recommend to friends. Taking off one star because they charge a 3.5% service charge for using a credit card instead of cash. This was not stated anywhere on their website or when placing an online order.

I can't lie I was kind of sketched out when I got there.. sushi bar? Inside of a neighbor style bar in south Akron? Well let me tell you what! The sushi chef had it goin on. I was blown away by the food and service! There were so many choices of sushi I didn't even realize existed. The prices weren't bad either. They offer several buy 1 get 1 half off and the waitress was pleased to help us get everything we wanted for the best price. It was so delicious, hands down the best sushi I've ever had. I will definitely be returning!

I really love the fact that you can get great sushi here as well as regular bar food. There was a good selection of unique beers on tap as well. The atmosphere when I visited was light at the staff exceptionally friendly. The staff goes to extra lengths to keep the soup hot for takeout orders as well.

The sushi is so good. It's SO good. It has no business being this good. When you walk into this bar you would never suspect it. The bar is ...odd, there's kind of a lot of belly button rings going on, but the beers are big and cheap and they often play early 2000s R&B. Whenever I order take out, they almost always get something wrong.... but I eat it because as I said above, it's SO GOOD.
