Denny's

I always order the Daily $4 Slam. I always receive great fluffy pancakes that fill the plate, alongside an appealing meat selection & egg. This breakfast was not the usual meal. The pancakes were flat, tough & a bit larger then the palm of my hand. The Bacon was a piece of a piece of bacon, not a full Bacon strip. Not the best meal this Time. Just a reminder to always look at your meal before you leave the restaurant!

I guess we were expecting to much! It's a Denny's I get that, greasy spoon joint right from the start. No one in the place upon arrival on a Sunday morning, things were still slow. Hygiene was way off but you get that going in! The condition of the restaurant was terrible, ever table in the place had brown duct tape on at least 1 seat. Some had layers of tape and they were still worn through. I would think Denny's would do a little better!!! The food was eatable just what you expect from a Denny's.

Absolutely horrible, gave no silverware and napkins. Gave a milkshake in the mixing cup when it’s supposed to be in a glass. And then the chocolate milk had a cup on syrup in it and was not drinkable. There was dirty plates and they took them back to have just wiped the stuff off with their finger. Mozzarella sticks had hair on them and the loaded tots were covered with sour cream but we asked for it on the side. And then the sour cream on the side was in a bathroom rinse cup. Like what the actual hell. We left and canceled our food.

Great customer service, food was delicious, and everything came in a timely manner. The lady who took our orders made a mistake but corrected it right away. My guest can be indecisive about what she wants to eat and drink. The waitress was very patient and even gave suggestions. Rarely had to ask for a refill. My food was great for a franchised restaurant.

Best Denny’s restaurant I’ve ever been to. Perhaps it was the person waiting on the checkout counter taking orders to go. But she was so kind knowing I had to eat gluten-free that she offered substitutions without qualms. She filled my travel mug and gave me an extra sugar packet “just in case” because I told her we were traveling. We ate here twice as takeout and food was hot and cooked appropriately both times. I highly recommend this Denny’s if you’re traveling by the airport in Albany. Just goes to prove that employees make the place. To Denny’s mgmt: Keep this employee and give her a raise.
