Capital Buffet

I don't even know where to start. This used to be a good place to eat and a decent value. Not anymore. First of all the place is filthy. As we were seated and I pulled my chair out, it was sticky and disgusting. All of the buffet utensils were gross as well. There were no gloves to be had anywhere. Good luck if you're looking for sushi. The salmon sushi did not even have salmon on it. I'm not sure what it was but I hope I don't get sick from it. The selection has dwindled. The quality....well there was no quality. If you go in anywhere near or after 9 PM they'll be taking the food away as you're trying to eat. There were plenty of people complaining that they were still eating as they were carting away buffet items for the night. And then there was Mr. Mop, cleaning up around people's feet. I told him he was going to cause a slip and fall accident and he didn't seem to care. At that point the floor was not just greasy and dirty it was greasy, wet, slippery and dirty. People were being rushed out the door. When the waitress put the bill on our table we told her we will be out very soon we just wanted to get some ice cream. She whisked away all the dishes while we were up getting our ice cream, and wiped off the table and put new silverware on it. We came back to her dirty (and smelly!) rag at our table. We won't be back. Yuck.

I need to say even though it was lunch that I had here I was very impressed with the taste and freshness of the food served here. I can’t imagine how much better dinner service is. I’ll find out soon enough. I got my moneys worth. Only one complaint. The servers were running around like chickens without their heads. Maybe because it was so busy. I don’t know but that’s all good. Loved my meal. The pic is only one of two plates I had because you can’t get everything the first time around lol.

Be careful sitting at table B11. A COCKROACH fell on our table on the soy sauce & napkins area at table B11 today about 4pm 04/14/22. Then the waitress complained to my husband she didn’t get tipped. Well next instead of killing the cockroach myself with the napkin I did that fell on the table where people eat Ill tell him to tip you next time. By the way it’s the industries fault they don’t pay you a living wage not the customer. And no tipping isn’t required. Also if customers were allowed to get their own soda I would & scrape my plates we would. It’s not hard. Rude customer service. Next time I’ll show the cockroach that fell on my table to all the customers eating at your restaurant that should be shut down by DOH. This is the second time or more customers have found cockroaches. Also at least half the food was cold that was sitting out for hours. So sense you want to be rude & have BUGS in place if I had the time I would report this place. Also half the plates are dirty & food stuck on them still & I felt sick to my stomach after leaving. Never going back. Worse experience I ever had. Not worth it. You guys are LUCKY you’re haven’t hit shut down yet. Count your days. Ridiculous. Rude. NEVER returning. Good luck! I pray more people don’t get sick. It looks clean from a far but it’s not. BEWARE!!!!
