Mr Subb

Upon walking-up to read the menu at Mr.Subb, I observed two employees standing there. One, who’s name tag read ‘Melissa’ stared, or should I say ‘glared’ at me as I stood there and read the menu. She seemed ‘annoyed’ at the opportunity to serve a customer and had a grim look on her unfriendly face! Since I’d never eaten at Mr.Subb at Colonie Center I decided to ‘give it a try’ even though Melissa’s attitude was less than approachable, in my opinion. I told her what I’d like, she responded with a nasty tone of voice asking me ‘do you want this, or that.. meaning cheese, condiments and such’ instead of asking ‘would you like...?’ Her overall stance and regard for the customer is on a different level! She’d probably be better serving food to dogs at a shelter where they wouldn’t understand her rude demeanor and comments. In my opinion, this woman and her attitude are demeaning and lack the customer service that I’m sure her boss/manager would not tolerate as far as engaging in conversation with any potential customers whom choose to visit and desire to get their meal at this particular location of Mr.Subb. Once I received my order, I realized it was not prepared as specified nor did she add the ingredients I desired! I will not eat at this particular Mr.Subb ever again, ever! The franchise owner/manager really needs to reconsider his/her choice to further keep Melissa employed at this establishment if in fact you want repeat customers! I am and was NOT happy with her, my service or food today!!! Hey Melissa... smile!

Inedible microwaved subs and unbelievably rude customer service. Unbelievably rude server who insulted me in front of customers for asking for dressing for my sub. I was mortified and embarrassed in front of my daughter because I was taken by surprise. Highly unprofessional and obnoxious behavior. I’m quite frankly shocked that the server is still employed there and on that note, where’s the manager? Nowhere to be seen. It seems fairly clear that your employees are incapable of running that store themselves. I’d highly suggest supervision since you’re allowing very rude people with serious attitude problems to manage your business. Not a wise move. The sub itself was entirely microwaved and virtually inedible. I threw it out after a few bites partially because I lost my appetite because of the server, and partially because the sub looked unappetizing and tasted bland. On top of that it’s $8 per sandwich, so I believe your money would be much better spent elsewhere.

Never been a fan of Mr. Sub when there are other much better local non-chain places around, but today we were at Colonie Center and wanted a sub for dinner. I was clear that no onions were to be on it, but when I got home and opened it up there were onions all over it. Ruined it. Will not be tempted again in the future.
