Wired Coffee & Bagel

So glad I discovered this place. Drove by many times, couldn't see it from the road and just didn't take the time to stop in. Well I was determined to drop in and did. Glad I did. Had a bagel it was great. They even have some unique savory cream cheese spreads, even pimento and green olive. Try that on an everything bagel, that was a great experience. The iced tea was made fresh for us and it was really very good. The staff was super friendly and smiled the whole time. Recommend!

With my refrigerator not working and not having eggs, I was craving a breakfast burrito and especially one with green chile. So when I heard that wired coffee and bagel had a Santa Fe breakfast burrito with green chile salsa, i wanted to go try it. I’m comparing this on two levels. One as a comparison to what I’m used to and a second comparison on its own merits as a burrito. As a comparison, it failed. No green chile flavor or taste. On its own, I tasted no cheese or green chile. It was quite bland with the tortilla or sausage (coming back to that) overshadowing any flavor. There was something crunchy that i couldn’t explain, perhaps something left from the grill? I’m used to breakfast burritos that open my morning taste buds. This…. This has me wanting to put it down and get breakfast elsewhere. I still haven’t finished it. I don’t like throwing out food so I tried to get myself through it. I failed. Not a plus or minus but i asked for the sausage on the side. I did not ask them, but I could not tell if the burrito was made on the same grill as the sausage, but it tasted either as if it was on the same grill where the sausage was or was inside and then removed after. That was my fault for not asking if they are made in the same place so i won’t take off for that. As I’m not a big coffee drinker, there’s not much else i wanted so that was it for this breakfast time.

They served up great lattes, a friendly and insanely professional barista, and reasonable prices on beans to take home. This place has been open for 4 years apparently and looks brand new. It is clean and has a view straight into the kitchen where I could see someone scrubbing the floor. My only suggestions: MARKET yourselves! You rock and people should come see you! Also you should reach out to local artists about consignment. You could have some real cool ambiance!

If you are staying at the Marriot on Wolf road..skip this place. No change for a $20...staff eating their breakfasts at the counter while waiting on guests..kind of gross. Our of many things on the menu...but the counter staff has no clew and they are super slow. Not the place to go if you are looking for cleanliness or a quick breakfast.

Really pretty awful. The bagels say they're from NYC but are soft and more like rolls than bagels. Coffee is burnt and you'd be better off with Starbucks. Cream cheese is just packets of Philadelphia cream cheese. Also you can tell the staff is underpaid/under appreciated - you get happy employees that are eager to help customers when they are treated right. You can tell just looking in their eyes and by the tone of their voice that they aren't appreciated.
