Neighborly bar with friendly locals and a fun atmosphere, as in the whole bar breaks into a rendition of “happy birthday” when a cake with lit candles is brought out. About seven beers on draft. Banquet room in the back with separate unisex bathroom. Parking lot across the street from the main entrance, or one can park streetside after certain hours. In November 2021 the Albany County Libertarian Party hosted Larry Sharpe at this location during his run for New York Governor.

Haven't been there since the last time the late Tom Healey Band played there. Was close by for a Dr appointment so I thought I'd try some lunch and get some wings to go. Nice special: 1/2 egg salad sandwich and cup of loaded potato soup. Both were very good. And I don't like creamy soups! Wings reheated great in air fryer. Next time I will eat them there like I used to every time I would come to see Tom play.

Great bar. Decent selection of beers on tap and they have pretty much anything else you'd want in cans or bottles (liquor selection is also good). Staff is super friendly and on point - bartenders are attentive, fun to chat with and the food always comes out quicker than I anticipate; huge portions and delicious to boot. The free, freshly made popcorn just makes it even better.
