Luke's Pizzeria And Grocery

We went in with 8 people at 8:30on a Monday night. The two gentlemen working there brought out some freshly made delicious fried chicken, some fresh chicken sandwiches and wraps, and some chicken over rice. The food came out very quick and was superrrr tasty. Pricing for all that food was very reasonable. The new owners really took the time to make sure everything was perfect. They gave us everything we asked for quickly and were very friendly. Will definitely go again and recommend everyone to try them out!!!

Very modest looking place. It goes by the title of a pizzeria but as far as I can tell it's much more known for their fried chicken, and for good reason. It's also a convenient store. The chicken is always good. Whether it's bone-in, boneless or a chicken sandwich. As far as the pizza, i've never had it and that's saying a lot because I LOVE.......LOVE pizza. The only reason I haven't tried it is because when I see the pizza they have for serving slices it's off to the side with the candy bars, etc. looking dry and just plain unappetizing. There always seems to be just the 1 guy there everyday working the counter and cooking. He's very polite and friendly to be so overworked. So make sure you tip him for the effort. Note to owner (more like a suggestion): Maybe make your pizza fresh to order and disregard the slice sales. You may be doing more damage than good. I love pizza but because of the state of your slices when I go there I wouldn't even consider buying a fresh pizza from Luke's. You wouldn't have all the pizza waste and could even afford to decrease the pizza prices. I could be totally off base and you could be making money off pizza slices hand over fist. In that case, carry on.

Under new ownership, this place isn't what it used to be. My chicken tenders were luke warm,old and dried out. Pizza,selection so so. Atmosphere is awful...dirty tables, flies and bees, most of the condiment shakers were empty and those that weren't were sticky and pretty gross. Overall, this place needs a total make-over.

Food is fine no complaints there but the owner has ridiculous attitude and is super stingy. We ordered a 12-piece chicken and the worker asked "white meat, dark or mixed?" And we chose white and then he made her put half of the white pieces back to replace with dark. He also charged us 1.50 for mustard to the side that we never got. we got a second order which was just crackers and a drink and he wanted a tip for that as well (usually tips are not for shelf items just for items that require cooking on the spot) although we paid a tip with our first order. If someone is that picky about payment he should be picky about his orders right too.

Stopped here for the Krispy Krunchy Chicken, and we were not disappointed. The young guy behind the counter was friendly and prompt, and let us have an extra dipping sauce (Cajun sweet and sour was our favorite). The place was clean and easy to find- would stop here again if we're ever passing through.

I just moved to the area, so I figured I’d try to call and place an order, since I’m only two blocks away, and the food looked great. The guy who answered the phone to take my order was incredibly rude, and when I asked him a question in regards to what a pizza and breadsticks would be, he sighed heavily and hung up on me. Definitely will not be having my business in the future.
