Texas Roadhouse

Me and my wife were first timers to visit Texas Roadhouse while visiting ABQ. Let me start with a bread starter: It just melts as soon as you take a bite. It will be refilled if your food is not ready yet. BBQ Chicken was very soft and tasted very good. Wife liked steak. Online has an option to get in line if the wait line is long.

You can add you name to the wait list before you get there. Then they send you a text to tell you to get your party together and come in. Then you still have to wait 15-20 minutes. Granted, Texas Road House doesn't know exactly when a party is going to be finished but I would think they could get closer than 20 minutes. The food had a good flavor and served at the correct temperature. We each had a salad and it was the skimpieest salad I have ever seen. 3-4 bites and you're done. What there was of it, it was fresh and tasted good. The service was OK. We got our order taken and food brought to us. Water was never refilled.

Visited for lunch with my grandaughter. She ordered the fried pickles. She loved them. You get a hefty amount unable to finish them all. I ordered the salmon (5 oz) it was outstanding, the green beans were also delicious. I left the vegetables, I can't handle broccoli. But everything was good that I ate. Sweet tea also not too sweet, that makes it good too. Definitely will return.

Our server was amazing and made up for the food experience. From check in to check out, the service was great and everyone was friendly! My husband ordered a T-bone and I a New York, unfortunately our steaks were not prepared properly. My husband asked for rare and I asked for medium rare. They got us mixed up, which would have been fine, but the steaks seemed to be previously frozen. They were rare and dry, chewy too… Our server was so apologetic and asked if we wanted them re-fired or something new. We opted to order something new. We went with the catfish and the fried chicken, both were amazing. Our kiddos had sirloin and burgers, both were great according to the kids. Thank you to the manager for coming over to apologize, we didn’t ask for them to come over, but we appreciated the kindness…

I'm a travel nurse from Arkansas , I've left Albuquerque at this point but I was there on and off for two years. I ate at this location probably 4 days a week on my last couple of contracts because it made me feel at home and comfortable and the food was always perfect. I feel horrible for forgetting her name but there's a lady manager with long black curly hair who always treated me like an old friend every time I came in SHE WORKS A LOT seemed like she was there almost everytime I was, she's an amazing person and I hope the company knows how lucky they are to have her. In addition the bar staff all knew me by name and also made me feel welcome. This is the best Texas road house I have ever been to, I travel often and have been to many and not one has out done this location. The food and service were consistently wonderful but the kindness and acceptance was something to lean on when being so far from home and much appreciated❤️❤️

John handled our party of 8 for my daughters birthday with the upmost quality, and attended to our every need. The food was delicious and the variety is just perfect. They also kept the icecream cake we brought with us in the fridge and had the whole restaurant engaging in thier own signiture birthday chant. Awsome location!!
