Azuma Sushi Teppan

Typically our first thought for sushi. Service is hit and miss when it comes to frequency of attention but the staff is always super nice and helpful. Wait times for sushi to roll out is hit and miss aswell. Sometimes it's quick and sometimes your there awhile. But never had an issue with quality or taste.

The last time I was at Azuma I took a date with me. We had fun here. I have been there several times. My date is was her first time. We sat on the grill side. We had a grill to our self. It was to busy that night. The cook was great. I forgot he's name but he was very good. He cooked our food properly. The waitress was very attentive to us. Everytime I go to Azuma I always have fun here. It's a great place to take ur date or family. I will definitely go back for dinner maybe lunch.

Always a 5 star restaurant in my book! We love Nancy's service, her smile and quick service is unbeatable! If only ALL the chef's had a sense of humor and cracked a few jokes.., there are few that are just plain boring! Ppl like to come to watch the excitement of the food cooking before thier eyes, it makes it even better when you make them laugh too. This is my favorite place to eat, going on 14 yrs! Affordable! Delicious! Always enough to are extras home for leftovers! Bring back the salad!!!! Nancy, you rock girl!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I loved our chef on the hibachi grill, but he overcooked my shrimp which only takes 4 to 5 minutes to cook and was cooking all the steak before my shrimp which caused it to be rubbery. I also spent more money on my shrimp then the other customers. Hoping the chef corrects this for next time because I may as well have ordered the steak at that point.

The food is always good from sushi to teppan and the service is great. My favorite thing about this place is they open early you don't have to wait until 4:30pm. The teppan grill is entertaining for all ages especially kids. I would recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. Great local Asian food to have in New Mexico.
