The Range Cafe

It was my first time eating at the Range, it was recommended to me by a friend. Our server Carter was the one who really made the experience extra special. He made some wonderful recommendations for the posole, amazing BTW. To top it off he gave me a dessert of my choosing for my bday he recommended the fruit pie and again great choice. We don't go out much anymore so it was nice to have someone so friendly and attentive. If you go in I highly recommend you ask for him he's awesome and won't steer you wrong when it comes to the menu.

Updated review.....visisted to celebra family birthday....same quality all the way around...glad to.see they maintain their quality in food and staffing. Very friendly staff...the food is always very appealing to look at and tastes great. The prices are reasonable and service by all is top notch. We were there on a busy Sunday evening and was promptly attended to and the pastry counter is amazing. Would highly recommend the cream puff...but actually all their sweets are fabulous.

Not a fan of new wave Mexican cuisine, especially when Google Maps classified it as American. I was mildly surprised and intrigued by the dishes. Take a page out of the Houston, Texas Mexican cuisine handbook and DONOT charge for chips and dips. They don't taste better because you have to buy them. Mexican people like spicy sauce on the enchiladas, we don't care about the colors. Whoever doesn't like spicy Mexican cuisine can go to Taco Bell, este es Nuevo Mexico, no New America. The culinary theory is sound, but the praxis is subservient to gringolandia.

Yum!!! I had only been here once before. My daughter wanted to go, so I took her to dinner. Our waitress won me over right away! So incredibly friendly! Next was the dessert section! I have a sweet tooth and felt like a kid in a cake shop... That black forest cheesecake and it was BOGO 1/2 off... Gimme gimme! Good food, comfortable atmosphere, terrific staff!

It was actually really good!!! I had the “Rio Grand Gorge open face smashed burger” and as you can see in the pictures, that’s how good it was.. if you haven’t tried this place before, I would give it a chance. We came back today 8/16/22, and the food was still good. My wife and I both had the breakfast burritos and an order of chips and salsa. Both were delicious and not disappointing. Their service was still great and I would definitely still recommend this place to anyone who wants good food.
