Outback Steakhouse

I like Outback Steakhouse. The food is usually very good. We have had outstanding service before and it is some place we enjoyed. My family (6 of us) went out to eat there; we were celebrating two birthdays. The restaurant was a light night with a lot of empty tables. Our server had GREAT difficulty bringing our drinks in a timely manner. Some of us had ordered specialty drinks that, in the past, came with fruit and with sugar rimmed glasses. Not this time, just the drinks and no frills. We had to flag her down after twenty minutes to take our food order. When the food was delivered, they came out two dishes at a time with a lengthy pause between each delivery. The steaks were way off. I ordered a medium rare steak and received a medium well steak. My husband ordered a medium steak and received a RARE steak, very bloody. This happened with everyone at the table. Our drinks were left empty for long periods until we flagged down the manager. Our server was rude to us on several occasions. We had to request items, such as sugar for the ice tea, multiple times before our server brought them. As we talked with the manager, this was not a new server; we had no idea why service and food prep were so bad. The people across from us were having problems as well. They had their dinners returned twice due to errors. On a positive note, we were seated at a round table so we were able to see and talk to everyone, eventho the music was fairly loud. The restaurant was clean, neat and tidy. The decor was nice. Normally, we have much better food and service. Who knows, maybe the server was just having a bad night. I will give Outback Steakhouse another try before I put it on the 'Bad' list.

I was in town for a business trip and a co-worker and myself stopped in for supper. The service was excellent. We ordered a bloomin’ onion for an appetizer and it was late coming out because they had overcooked it and made us another one which they then waived off our ticket because of the delay. We didn’t ask for it, but as an act of good customer service they took care of it. The food was delicious and definitely hit the spot!

When the order comes out right, the food is great! The Good: the food is very flavorful; although its a chain steakhouse, the steaks, shrimp, wings, chili and most everything I've had come out prepared completely different, much more flavorful! The steak always comes out perfectly cooked; the wings aren't your traditional buffalo but a much better style; the bloomin onion is available in boththe full onion or a smaller petals app at half the price; and the Manager is helpful and taking care of correcting issues. The Bad: nothing worth mentioning yet. To the steak snobs out there, please remember this review isn't in comparison to a Prime steakhouse that charges 50+ for a steak, it is in comparison to other chain steakhouses, and this is by far the best of the bunch!

Service is amazing! Omar is very friendly & attentive! They even have 3 different managers coming around to gauge satisfaction. Steak & salmon were cooked perfectly. Coconut shrimp is better than Red Lobster. Broccoli perfectly steamed. The stars for me were the new blood orange Rita & the new Tim Tam sundae. Awesomeness!

The staff, dressed in friendly attire, greets you with genuine smiles, making you feel instantly at home. Alana our waitress went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Eslinda one of the managers also went out of her way to ensure our visit is unforgettable, and even corrected the sound of the music asking if the volume was okay. They both did a great job anticipating our needs without being intrusive. It's clear that they take pride in creating a delightful dining environment., The genuine warmth and hospitality at this Outback Steakhouse make it a place that feels like more than just a restaurant; it becomes a place where memories are made and cherished. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a casual night out, or a date in my case ; the outstanding service and inviting atmosphere make it a truly lovely destination.
