Pho Nguyen Vietnamese Restaurant

Good to bad. My glass of water was unproblematic. The temperature of the room was comfortable. Everything looked clean. Ingredients were below average quality. Peanut sauce watery. Overall general lack of flavor. I hope they pay servers above minimum wage, because nothing they do is worth a tip. The only reason to come here is if you've never been here before so don't know better and/or you live/work near here so the convince is worth them satisfy your low expectations. I took the Pho to go for my boyfriend. That was actually good. Stick to the pho if you go here.

Papaya Salad anyone? I’ve eaten at almost all of the Vietnamese restaurants, but this one stands out. The presentation is great, the flavors even better. We’ve ordered noodle bowls, soups, curry, salad, and rolls. I’m going to try the Vietnamese sandwich next. They put more effort into their dishes. The vegetables are fresher. I’ll be back soon

Food, service and ambiance were all excellent. Had vermicelli bowl with shrimp, pork and egg roll plus Vietnamese coffee. Servers were super nice and efficient, and the decor/music were classic and unobtrusive. My only criticism is the plastic chopsticks: too slippery to pick up the noodles! If I lived in Albuquerque I would bring my own, cuz I would eat here a lot!

Best pho in town and I've tried them all: the broth is spectacularly good and the peanut and fish sauces are amazing. Have been eating at Pho Nguyen for many years and never been disappointed by anything on the menu, but keep going back to the B3 just because it's so good. Also highly recommend the spring rolls.

I love this place! Best Pho in town! Excellent service! Food always fresh! Never a wait! The staff always extremely polite and courteous! Reasonably priced! I go there quite often an have never been disappointed, I don't even have to tell the waitress what I want, she already knows. I recommend this restaurant highly! Great place!!! Yummy

Got a take-out order just before closing. The portion amounts for each item were larger than a lot of other places I order from. The food was all fresh, hot, and tasty. The shrimp fried rice was amazing. As usual the bean sprouts in the dish were so fresh. I don't usually order bean sprouts in anything I order from somewhere else as it's hard to find fresh. Here I look forward to getting them. I didn't know that I liked bean sproats until I had them at Pho Nguyen! And I eat at a lot of Asian food restaurants of all types. My G13 was perfect. The chicken is moist, tender, and grilled to perfection. Everything in my order is so good. Vy put my order together and always does it right. Every waitstaff I have had serve my orders has been friendly, helpful, and goes out of their way to make sure my in-dining and my take-out experiences are the best. I have been here when they are slammed and when they were just a few and food and service is good either way. Everyone I have introduced to Pho Nguyen has gone again with or without me. A2, A4, A10, G12 or G13, G17, H12, or I5 always hit the spot. And C8 is one of my all time favorites! And Pho Nguyen is one of my all time favorite restaurants. As for anyone who thinks that their food doesn't have enough seasoning just remember, everyone is different. Some like a lot of spices and some don't. They have chile-paste and any other condiment available. So you can make it just like YOU like it. I prefer that to having to adjust something I'm eating from what the house fixed. To each his own. If there's too little chile-paste, or fish sauce, or garlic you can request more and get your ratios exactly like you like it. I like a lot of their dishes just like they're served because the true flavor of the dish comes thru. JMT.
