Applebee's

I have to say that I was totally impressed with the food and the delivery from this Applebee's. I was forced to order delivery for personal reasons (haven't had a delivery order except for pizza in years) and was amazed at how fast it came. The food was hot and delicious! I ordered one of the Holiday Combos and the Wonton Chicken Tacos - both were great!

I ordered the 6 oz Steak and Shrimp dinner, and the steak was cooked exactly to the medium rare I had ordered, the onion rings were large and succulent, all the sides were cooked to near perfection. The manager, Shenicka Gary took great care to see that I received a great experience there, and I sure did. Applebee's did very well! Ger W

No complaints here. I always have fun at Applebee's. Tonight, had the chicken Caesar salad. Along with that, I had some french onion soup, and it was all delicious. Usually I get the appetizer platter, but tonight I had pretzel sticks. The beer cheese dipping sauce was delicious and I enjoyed them quite a bit. Probably ate too many. 😁 The photos are a fair representation of the salad and the pretzel sticks. It's hard to get a good photo of French onion soup. It always comes out looking like a slab of cheese. 😉. But, under that slab of cheese is pretty delicious course of French onion soup. It's one of my favorite things here. I only wish I had saved enough room to have one of the blondies for dessert.

We had tried to go to the San Mateo location and were disappointed to find it permanently closed. We weren't looking forward to the extra time in the car to get to this location. But, the hostess (didn't catch their name) and Kannon, our server, made it worth it. We will be going directly to this location from now on.

We ordered the "special" 2 4 $25.00 steak dinner. (This special was on another menu on the table with flavored cocktails and desert) We asked the young lady 3 times about the "special." We asked may we get the 8oz for $2.00 each for 29.00, yes she said and rather than potatoes, may I get a salad, she said that is as a "side" so of course..
