Firehouse Subs

We just had lunch at Firehouse in Montgomery Plaza. Wow! What a terrific experience!!! First off, this is the cleanest restaurant either of us have ever seen. Someone, in between customers, is always cleaning up the eating area. The entire place is spotless, including the restroom. The employees are very friendly, happy and very willing to do anything their customers need. They greet you when you enter, they say thank you and goodbye when you leave. The food is flawless! Everything is very very fresh, the meats are perfectly cooked, and your order will be exactly what you requested. Surprisingly good l, was trying something new and the Italian sandwich was very juicy and delicious. The setup in the restaurant is questionable, maybe I'm slow and used to subway but a big arrow says order here but it's basically where you pay and the line starts when you walk in the door. Overall it was a great lunch.

I have nothing bad to say at this restaurant. They make excellent sandwiches and have fantastic chili. They were very friendly throughout the entire experience, and ordering food was quite quick. From the time I ordered, it took about five minutes for me to be prepared and given. I got the medium Italian sandwich which had the perfect amount of meat and paired with the cheese, mayonnaise, and perfectly toasted bread, this sandwich was incredible! The chili was also surprisingly tasty. Not too oily, this chili was chunky with tons of meat and tomatoes. The secret is to get their sriracha packets and dump 2 of them in a bowl of chili. This elevates the flavor and brings a subtle kick that the chili definitely needs.
