Billy's Long Bar

Edit, Sept. 2023: This is one of my favorite places to go. It may look kind of weird on the outside, but the interior is very clean and obviously well taken care of. It does get loud and a bit rowdy in the Hellfire pool room, but quiet and chill early in the day. All the bartenders are amazing and fun to talk to! There have been one or two instances where I've had bartenders who haven't been inviting or seemed disinterested to be there. Overall - give Billy's a chance! They're definitely one of the most unique bars in ABQ! (Fried mushrooms are TDF :) They had a good cocktail called the Manzana, and the bartender offered to make it differently since they were out of the main liquor. It still tasted great! I got a half order of nachos, and they were okay, still a huge portion if you want to share with someone.

My favorite place to get drinks in ABQ! Bartenders are all young, beautiful women. The girls wear what they want which creates a welcoming sense of familiarity. Amanda is a charisma bomb and I ask for her by name. Fabulous Palomas! Monique makes exciting and unique tequila drinks. Drinks are served in real glasses. This adds elegance to an otherwise casual atmosphere. Never too crowded, never too loud. The food is phenomenal and the menu is impressive. I recommend the Breaded Mushrooms with Buffalo sauce and the Indian Taco. Wide selection of liquors to fit a variety of tastes and budgets. The Three Olives Loops Vodka was a dealer’s choice that pleasantly surprised me. Adult fruit loops! The closer you sit to the bar, the faster your service will be. This is common sense.

The women helpers are PHENOMENAL! However, a Caucasian male that is MAYBE 5’8”, has a red haired beard, is a “thick” (overweight) individual that is balding has been VERY rude to the staff - tonight alone he told a customer “she’s not in a good mood right now, but tonight she’s doing to be my b***h.” He is condescending and does not treat people as they’re humans. If these are the type of people this establishment employs, than no one should be finding this business. (the 5 star rating is for the Women employees)

I must say, that was the best chicken over had in a long time. Our 2nd time here and we tried something different from our first visit. I had the 2 egg platter. The hash browns were delicious! The onion rings and steak fingers were nice and crispy! The patio was clean and our server was attentive. Its a great comfortable atmosphere. They do have outside heaters. The downside is someone was smoking a cigarette in the patio. Last visit someone was smoking a cigar. No bueno. They both leave a bad lingering odor. Other than that, our food was excellent!
