Billy's Pub

Billy's is that neighborhood bar which is slowly dying out but still manages to exist in a 20th Century mind-set with a clientele who are 98% Male, 88% over 45, and 72% fatty liver. It's that bar which is still confident enough to have Playboy pin-ups from the 1980s wallpapering the men's room toilet and that total lack of light at all hours of the day which was the norm for bars once upon a time. Still it's the type of place on a Sunday afternoon where you can watch the football game of your choice with decent drink specials and a crowd of unpretentious locals who just want to enjoy themselves.

Came in because I had 2 hrs to waste. I was immediately greeted by a regular who assured me that the place was really great. The bartender came out to get my order and she was VERY attentive and kind. The environment was calm and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and strangers!

I thought this place was half decent when we first went in. The original waitress was attentive and nice. But as we were trying to get to the patio to finish our beers, an overly large man came and got really aggressive with us. We handed our beers over and told him it was all fine, but he continued to be belligerent. We left the facility to figure out who was driving and who wasn't and less than a minute that we were out in the parking lot, the large man came out and told us we had to leave right then and there. I asked him to give us a minute so we could arrange a safe ride home, and he said he was going to call the cops. I will never go back to this bar, staffing was rude and they preferred a drunk person driving home than waiting a couple minutes to assure we had a safe ride. Unacceptable, and quite frankly, uncalled for. This place isn't worthy of your time or money.

My husband and I have been going there for ten years and we usually love this place, but last night the bartender Monica was completely rude. She didn't serve me for two hours. I waited for her showing my credit card. When I finally decided to leave, she had a random guy follow me out to my car at night. Absolutely terrifying. This used to be my safe haven, a place I could go any night of the week and be left alone. But when you get followed out to the parking lot by random men under the instruction of staff, it becomes a safety issue. I tried to pay and was ignored. None of this was necessary at all.

It was a nice night at first, then when me and my friends decided to go to the patio the employees chased us out assuming we were trying to leave with alcohol. What they call security there forced us to leave before our designated driver arrived and threatened us with physical action. Worst bar I've ever been too.

Friends and I thought that this was a really calm dive bar. At last call we decided to head to the patio to finish our drinks when the fat old guy decided it was okay to man handle us and take our drinks even though we stated we were going to the patio. He proceeded to physically grab the drinks after we paid and stated our intentions and told us to leave the premise without realizing (or simply didn't care) had been drinking and tried to figure out what we would do for the designated driving. Do not come to this bar!! Unless, you intend to be abused and be ripped off. This bar isn't for the well-being of its customers.
