Casa Tequila Bar & Grill

Was just out enjoying the nice weather on Tuesday a few weeks ago and I just happened to walke by this place. I stepped inside just to take a look. It just happened to be their happy hour. My frozen drink was on point and $2 tacos was hittin. They serve a $5 Mexican wing that was also lip smacking good. Service was impeccable. Restaurant was nice and clean, very inviting atmosphere.

The overall experience was great. We got seated fast. The food came out fast. I personally loved the mexican rice, the refried beans, and my steak burritos. The steak inside tasted great and had a grill taste. The queso was a bit watery, but wasn't terrible. We also tried the margarita flights. 4 kinds of margaritas. The blue one was the worst and the mango one was good. Also the green tomatillo sauce in my burrito was good also had a sweetness that I liked. The worst part was the bill. The margarita flight seemed pricey, but it was huge. I guess I was expecting the bill to be less then it was. Other than that Ihad no complaints. My friend on the other hand wasn't as enthused with the food as I was and didn't like the queso and the salsa was a bit to marinara sauce like for him. Also i guess didn't enjoy his food as much and got a pretty big bill, which probably didn't help his love for the place. It was around 70 bucks for two of us with both getting margarita flights and queso and a meal each.

I, a black woman and her child sat down on a Tuesday for tacos. No one acknowledged us, no drinks no nothing just sitting there for over 20 minutes. White party of four comes in after us and are immediately helped and served water as me and my son sat patiently waiting for any acknowledgement. Spoke to the manager and she said "oh I THOUGHT some one was helping you" well whoopty do. Be aware!

We went on a Tuesday just because there's a big sign across their front window that advertises "Taco Tuesday and Margarita Flights." But it was very bait and switch. We picked out our flight flavors from the menu only to be told that the munu was outdated and they didn't offer flavor choices anymore, the owner was losing money on them so there were set flavors and we couldn't choose. The flavors were not great, so we just got regular margaritas. They came without a salt rim, but were good enough. We order the Taco Tuesday option (all you can eat tacos) and found out they only came with lettuce and cheese, all other toppings we had to pay extra for. We were annoyed but ordered Pico, sour cream, and guac even though they should have come standard. Then the poor waiter comes back and apologized saying the owner told him he couldn't put in our taco order because we weren't sitting at the bar? There were only a handful of seats at the bar. Why are you advertising with such a big sign for only a fraction of the restaurant? The owner should be embarrassed and the whole experience felt very cheap. We decided if he was cutting corners that bad then we didn't want whatever came out of the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all.
