Whiskey & Oyster

The dishes in the photos 📸 were very yummy: hush puppies, sweet potato fries, calamari, fried oysters, fish & chips. I wasn't happy w/what I ordered which was a side salad & the shrimp & grits...I didn't taste the cheese in the grits & the shrimps were very tough probably because the dish looked like soup & the shrimp continued to cook in the sauce (last 2 photos 📸) Overall it was a nice place to visit w/friendly staff & great atmosphere.

Brunch was very underwhelming, especially price to portion ratio. The atmosphere was cute, and it was very clean. The serving staff was great and attentive, but the kitchen staff did mess up the order but they also rectified it. The menu is deceiving as the "skillet" item order did not come out in a piping hot skillet, but instead luke warm food on a cold plate. Their "potato hash" was just gaint pan seared potatoes, and the lobster in the omelet was over cooked. We doubt we'll be back.

HIDDEN GEM!! We went there for brunch on Sunday and were so impressed we went back for dinner the next night. I had the Monte Cristo for brunch which was perfectly crafted with a great blend of sweet and savory. We shared beignets with dipping sauces which are VERY GOOD and addictive. For dinner we had the Kung pao cauliflower which was very flavorful. The warm lobster roll w lobster bisque. My son had the very delicious burger with the strawberry goat cheese salad. He ranked it one of best burgers he has had. And for dessert: beignets! Also prices are very good for Alexandria. Highly recommend!
