Charlies On The Avenue

We were pleased to join the opening night crowd at Charlie’s On The Avenue. A modern sports bar brought to us by the crew that treated Del Ray to LiveOak restaurant. The service was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. I enjoyed a plate of large peel and eat shrimp and an excellent Caesar Salad while my wife had delicious fish and chips. The full bar has a wonderful selection of craft beers on tap and in bottles as well as some select wines by the glass. Loved arriving at 545 to find happy hour prices on those beers. We will definitely be back.

The food was very tasty. We got vegan tacos, the mushroom sandwich, and fried mozzarella. The vegan tacos are some of the best vegetarian tacos I've ever tasted. The mushroom sandwich was actually a homemade mushroom/veggie patty, it was really flavorful and good with the goat cheese. I personally don't care for the sports bar atmosphere but I liked the prices and that it was casual. The Charlie's Lager was also quite good!

Nice little spot with plenty of tv’s. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with fries and my partner had the bbq sliders, and we loved it. Food and service were both great, and I’ll probably make this my new go-to spot for watching hockey games during the week. Hope to come back for trivia night sometime as well.

Would be a regular if had one in green bay. All four of us loved our food(rare).. really happy we found Charlie's. Hopefully get back before we head home in a few days. Prices average, waitress was great. Wish I could prop her up but I dont remember name Someone help me out. July 3rd , late afternoon. She had tats .. thank you
