Old Blue Bbq

Took care of everything! So first and foremost the food was DELICIOUS. Like people are still talking about it delicious! Which is of course what you want out of a caterer, but even more important to me as a bride planning a wedding with unexpected COVID complications, the team at Old Blue took so much off of my plate. They have decor you can borrow, they worked seamlessly with my venue 48 fields so I barely had to think about anything set up/decor related, they transported all of our alcohol and decor to the venue (I dropped it off with them the week before), and had awesome suggestions for bar menu etc. The team on the day of was super fun and did a great job (even making sure that I got the last of the mac and cheese sent home with me!). Could not have made a better choice for our caterer!

We used Old Blue BBQ to cater a Celebration of Life ceremony, and it was Fantastic. The food was great, we got rave reviews from so many people and I was asked many times who the caterer was. The set up was exactly what we wanted and the staff was polite and professional. Dealing with Kelly (the Owner) was easy and pleasant. The food we had was a mixture of BBQ, Brunch and a picnic. I couldn’t recommend them enough. If you need something catered or are just looking for delicious food, Old Blue BBQ can do it, and do it well. 5 stars. Highly recommend them.

Though I was not able to book Old Blue BBQ for my wedding, they gave my family and I an AMAZING tasting experience. One of my family members doesn't speak English and the chef gave the whole tasting explanation in English and Spanish! Rachel, who I worked with, was so kind, thoughtful, and responsive. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caterer.

I have been looking for a good BBQ place since I moved here last summer. My search is over. It's a bit off the beaten path and not really a restaurant (they clearly focus on catering) but the food is incredible. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and the chili. The pulled pork with their sauces was probably the best I'd ever had. So juicy and delicious. I would not get the chili again, but only because I prefer mine with beans and tomatoes and stuff. Their was 100% beef brisket with a chili sauce. It wasn't my style, but it was good and if you don't like beans you will love it. I will be a regular at this place. Can't wait to try more of their menu items!

I cannot speak highly enough of Old Blue BBQ and Kelly as our full service caterer for our wedding! After postponing twice, the actual wedding went off without a hitch, largely due to Kelly and her staff. Not only was the food and service excellent, but Old Blue handled the set-up, room flip, breakdown, and table decor - a lot of which we got from their bride share. On top of hiring them for our wedding, we have ordered take out from them several times which has always been great!

Kelly and her team at Old Blue BBQ are UNREAL. Yes—their food is downright delicious. But Kelly and her team go above and beyond the call of duty to make you feel heard, relaxed, and prepared for your big event. Don't even think about going with anyone else—hire Old Blue BBQ for your event. They made our big day what it was and, more importantly, made the process smooth, fun, and easy. We even had a saying, "Kelly's got it" when we were afraid anything might go wrong. And she did—anything that went wrong at our wedding, Old Blue had it handled. And their mac n cheese is unreal. And their bartenders were SO NICE. Okay—starting to rant—but really, just hire them already. Thank you, Old Blue BBQ!

We used Old Blue BBQ for our wedding on Sunday September 5th on Labor Day Weekend. Kari and Kelly were the easiest people to work with and were never annoyed with the millions of questions we had about the wedding. The bartenders were amazing and the food was on point. My wife and I thought we'd be coming home with so many left overs but we were so wrong! Most of our guests definitely had seconds!

OBBQ staff are professionals with years of experience in the industry and you can tell! Thanks to them, our wedding was a huge success. They were so helpful during our wedding planning process and everything they did was so thoughtful and for the benefit of making sure our wedding day went well. The food was fantastic, bar service, set up and breakdown, everything. They were so accommodating and great to work with!
