The owner has been there for almost 40 years. That's amazing! And what's even more amazing is that he still remembers me after 20 years of not being there. If you are really into authentic Taiwanese food, then I suggest ordering stinky tofu. There are not many places that still make them. But if you are not adventurous enough, then please don't bother to push yourself; stinky tofu is not for you! It's an acquired taste meant to be enjoyed by people who can appreciate its sophistication of flavors.

Yes, I came here on my own for lunch.... and it was great! Super fast service, and every staff person was sweet and friendly and attentive. The price is a bit steep and that's the only reason I docked a star, otherwise it was great at 130pm on a Monday. At other times I assume it's jam packed, but it was just right for my lunch craving for xiao long bao!
