I celebrated my birthday yesterday in this excellent restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a fabulous evening and the restaurant was surely one of the reasons for that successful meeting. The team cooperated in a gorgeous way, the food was great and my guests were so glad. We shall surely visit again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

We've been devouring Hideki san's sushi for years! Great quality. The focus is on taste, not over the top rolls. Children are welcome, too. Not a large restaurant, but it is family run, cozy, and comfortable.

Everything we tried so far is very delicious. One day we were running late, they took our order over the phone and we had our late dinner here :)

What a great little hole in the wall tucked into a shopping center. If someone hadn't invited me to this location, I would have never known it existed. Really quick and friendly service. And relatively cheap too. There were 5 in our party and the bill was around $60.

The many times I've come here the food was incredible. Last time is was a little disappointing -wasnt as good for the money we spent but still better than every place I've been locally. Service could be better at tables. I recommend sitting at bar.

This is my favorite sushi place in the Aliso Viejo area. They have good rolls at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly.

We went on Monday so it wasn't that busy, everything so good. The uni was fresh and sushi was very good! Highly recommend this restaurant, one of the best sushi / Japanese places in Irvine area!

We’ve been to a few sushi places in south OC and this place is by far the best. The fish was extremely fresh and tasted delicious. I love eel but their popcorn lobster roll was amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone.

I am a big fan of sushi and I love yellowtail. Properly sourced and cut yellowtail sushi melts in your mouth and has a buttery consistency.
I was a little wary about the "fusion" in their description. I prefer authentic and I never found a fusion Japanese restaurant I liked- until now.
My wife and I went to Bistro Anju and we were very impressed. I ordered the sushi sampler (I forgot what it was called) and it was more traditional with the right amount of fusion. The flavors went perfectly together. Definitely one of my favorite Japanese places in South OC.
