Been coming here for a few year's and is a blessing to know a place to come get a decent meal that is not the typical fast food chain. The owner is always nice to everyone that comes in and makes sure everyone is taken care of. I think the few bad reviews on here are just one's being picky and looking for something to complain about. The price is very reasonable. I love the vegetables and meats because they are never over seasoned like some other places. My son loves coming too because of all the choices and the ice cream.

A hidden gem! I’ve probably driven past AJ’s hundreds of times and didn’t realize it was there! Service was friendly and attentive, and the buffet was reminiscent of the cafeterias old - except it’s all you can eat!. Lots of delicious choices of everything, from meat & vegetables to salads and desserts. Alpharetta has become a “destination” for fine dining ($$$) and shopping, but if you’re craving meat & potatoes, check out AJ’s!

I'm a pilot. I travel. I've eaten in thousands of restaurants. Hundreds of buffets. This was the worst. Ever. Cold food. Salisbury Steak.? No resemblance to the real thing. Awful. Everything. AWFUL. I went to pay my tab. $13.50, plus tip. I started to tell the guy at check out. SUCKED. I want my money back. The only decent thing you cook are chicken legs. I didn't want the possible confrontation. Would I go back? Not if they offered me one free visit, every week for a year. Not if they promised to cook and deliver all my food for life. Understand.... lotta people are retirees in this area. Eat dinner early. 4-6 pm. I hope they enjoy. Pray they find a better place to go. And. I have NEVER, ever, in my life shared a restaurant experience to Yelp or anywhere else. That's how bad, cold, and how long the food on the buffet had been out there. French style green bean casserole? One bite. Inedible. I will add this. The servers are great. Nice, sweet, attentive to a customer's needs. They aren't the ones buying cheap, putting out lower level products.
