Steak 'n Shake

What a disaster 😂😂 I ordered in the app, and it let's you do curbside! It was a great experience, and it was honestly a pleasure using the app. It said it would take 11-13 minutes after I placed my order at 11:17! After being yelled at by the manager I was told to go through the drive thru to oder after having already ordered and paid for my food. It was 11:54pm and I had still yet to get to the window or get my food. It was rough.

My husband and I stopped here before seeing a movie today. I don't mind ordering for yourself, but they need to ensure that the employees they have, know what they are doing. The food wasn't good. The burger was dry and overcooked, the fries were undercooked. The staff said nothing to me, but I noticed the person handing out the food being very rude to another customer. She asked for her sauce, which she paid for, but didn't know the name and said "Steak n shake sauce", the guy responded with "We don't have steak n shake sauce" in louder annoyed voice. The issue was that the printer was not printing, so she could not check her receipt and find the name. I showed her the sauce I had so she could use the "Correct" name for the guy behind the counter. In addition I'm glad that I carry wet wipes, because we had to clean our own booth. With poor food quality, no ambiance, and rude employees I doubt that I will eat here again any time soon.

Have every type of burger except a regular hamburger... But tell tem how you want your burger and they'll hook you up.... If you want a good regular hamburger. Tell them you want a double or triple meat, lettuce, tomato, mayonnaise, combo burger meal. Meat patties are a little small but very good and the price is also small. Which is also very good. And fast service. Go to this place and you won't be disappointed.

This place doesn't even deserve a 1 star! First off I very seldom eat burgers but for some strange reason I decided to stop at the ridiculous place last night and called ahead for my meal. When I arrived at the restaurant on time... I was told I would have to come inside to pick up my order. I did and walked back to my vehicle only to realize that my food was Ice Cold. I simply went back in and asked if I could have my 9.00 meal replaced and was immediately scolded by some individual that refused to give me his name and started insulting me. Took my meal back to the kitchen when one of the burger cooks in the back started shouting loudly that he wasn't going to remake my food. Looked at me and called me a "White N-word"! I mean really? I asked for his name and he said it was Elijah. I told him I couldn't believe he said that to me and the tensions continued to escalate. He threatened to come over the counter and continue the conversation. I asked who owned the restaurant and they refused to tell me. I did ask for a receipt and they tore part of it in half and gave it to me. I left not wanting to continue with the conversation. As I was pulling my vehicle around past the drive through they continued to shout at me at which I returned the comments and said ok Elijah I'll be in touch. At that point the man named Elijah jumped over the counter and started running out of the store to continue the confrontation. At this point I just simply left. This was absolutely the worst scenario I've EVER encountered for the most part anywhere. I can't in good faith recommend to anyone to ever eat at this location safely. I'm still looking to find who actually owns the store and have had no success. I've called the corporate number and keep getting a recording saying no one is available. PLEASE EAT AT THIS LOCATION AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Doing a simple door dash order. Literally for one item. I arrived inside to wait for it at 11:05 pm. They close at midnight mind you. After waiting for like 15 minutes inside, and watching the manager get on the loud speaker and literally YELL at the guests inside to get out so they can close (there are elementary school aged children with their parents), he also starts yelling at the people waiting for pick up to wait in the drive thru. It’s almost 11:45 and I’m still waiting for this poor guys order. My customer is understanding so I’m not at all worried about that. I just can’t believe he yelled at paying customers and children like that. The rest of the staff was really nice and tried to help everyone, but he would literally get in between them and customers and just start putting people out. If he talks to customers like this I can only imagine how he talks to his staff. Just unprofessional
