Bawarchi Biryani Point

I love this place not coz of the ambiance or service but because of the food. Goat or Chicken Biriyani is just too good comparing to most of South Indian Hyderabad style Biriyani’s. They will made it spicy or mild spicy as you want! Choice of dosas, I have tried regular plain dosa, masala dosa, cheese dosa and Chicken Tikka dosa! Biriyani quantity was generous with sufficient goats or chicken drumsticks! Dosa size was super big! We all loved it. Our family loves eating out here ever since we came to Alpharetta.. Quick note- we lived in NJ for 5 years so I had experienced lot of Indian restaurants at New Jersey, NYC area before sharing this review! Trust me dont go by their service or ambience if you love food this is the place. Lastly, both ladies at the store has always been very attentive and polite. I dont know why some people had a bad experience with the service. To-go boxes and tissues are stacked at the table right beside the Restroom doors and you dont have to ask for it!!

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in Alpharetta. They are always very prompt and friendly. The menu is more extensive than most and I've been trying many new dishes lately. I especially recommend their Vindaloo, Tandoori Platter, and Natukodi Biryani on Sundays. The website has been down for awhile so I've taken some pictures of their menu - regular as well as takeout. (There are slight differences between the two.) These are the current menus as of Summer 2021.

Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I stopped to get takeout. Naturally, I ordered biryani. It had good flavor but was quite spicy. Most of the chicken is cut in small pieces and there were bone shards throughout the rice. I ended up putting it on a plate and sifting through before continuing to eat. Not most enjoyable way to eat a meal. The yogurt sauce accompanying the biryani was thinner than I had before but it was tasty. I also got Naan and it was good. Like the sauce that came with it. All in all, not sure this will be on my most visited list of restaurants but I might give it another try but ordering something else??
