Cafe Istanbul

Didn't get what we ordered and they brought a substitute without asking but charged the original price with a discount. Only two servers and the place was pretty full, so service was slow. Waited 10 min at the door, along with others waiting before and after me, before we were greeted and seated. Watermelon margarita tasted pretty good tho. Belly dancer didn't dance long and only came by for a brief moment.

I went there with my friends on a Bollywood night. They have two types of seating. You can choose either table and chairs or sit on floor. The place was pretty crowded when we reached there. They serve liquor and Hookah. They have variety of mediterranean food options for both Vegetarians and Non Vegetarians. Although, I didn't like the drinks here at all. Also, the food was little pricey. Music was good and loud. They have a small area to dance. Also, they have belly dancer (not sure about the days) and that was one of the fancy attraction here. She was good at her trade. Overall It is a good place to go once and enjoy the theme (if you are in middle eastern theme). ✌🏼

Ok, so my experience is solely based on the food and bar experience just FYI. I know ppl probably more care about the vibe, hookah and whatnot here. Anyway, I went to just chill here to kill some time before watching a movie and it met my expectations. It happened to be a pretty quiet night so I had really good service, you're mileage may vary, haha. I sat at the bar, and shortly after I sat and ordered a Guinness they delivered it immediately. Feeling good now, I pour over the menu. I focus in on the appetizers seeing they had a basket of i think Zatar bread. I asked for that but the server let me know, hey just get one of the other appetizers and you also get the bread too. I glance at the menu and quickly let her know I want the spicy dipping sauce. Afterwards my server walks away and I stare down at my phone. A few minutes later they dropped a basket of bread with plenty of this dipping sauce. I looked at it excitedly, but quickly realized I've been asked if I want anything else. I open the menu, point to the rice dishes and exclaim I want the lamb rice plate they have. I hand over the menu and dive into the Zatar bread adding scoops of the sauce into each slice. Definitely enjoyed that. About 10 mins or so later my server comes back and places these pretty large wooden containers containing a salad and rice and lamb with plenty of veggies, spices and etc. The dish I got was pretty good but there just felt like there was something missing to it over the top for me. I really liked the look of the place, the vibe seemed cool, the food was solid, I really wouldn't mind being here with a group with the music bumping and a hookah sitting in front of me. Worth a revisit

Great atmosphere! The cheese bread and pizza was delicious. Hookah was great too. The entertainment was amazing. It was busy when we arrived, so if I had to point out one thing it would be slow service. It took about 7 mins before our waiter came to the table, but luckily the dancer and dance floor kept us occupied until the waiter came around.
