Three Dollar Cafe Jr

Good food at a good price. Once we finished lunch, however, it took 15-20 minutes to get the check. Service was also generally slow. Normally, I would blow it off, but since we were on a time crunch, it was incredibly inconvenient. Will still do delivery, but I can't afford to drop by for lunch during the week without being late to class. I can't 100% blame the owners due to staffing shortage, but 1 waitress for a lunch rush is a little crazy. Also, 3 dollar cafe costs more than 3 dollars. Incredibly dissapointed. 😔

My husband and a friend went to this location and their experience was nothing like any of the other locations we’ve been to. My husband ordered the grouper and it was more breading than fish. He also asked for hot sauce and the waitress was extremely rude and behaved as though it was a complete bother to ask her for anything. Brought the Tabasco sauce and sat it at the end of the table. His friend asked about the infamous chicken wings I talked about and she stated they only come in 10 each and walked away. The service received is not indicative to the other locations. They both are disappointed and refused to visit any Three Dollar Cafe location. Hopefully this will reach management and changes take place.

My husband ordered from this place on grub hub on super bowl Sunday. He placed the order at 4:21pm for pickup at 6:30pm. Once he arrived, there was a sign on the door saying they closed at 6 and there was a man inside repetitively pointing to the sign refusing to open the door as my husband was trying to tell him he had an order. Finally another employee opened the door and said they closed their grub hub from accepting deliveries at 5 and continued to argue after my husband showed him the receipt on his phone (it also printed on the receipt they had on their bag clearly pickup for 6:30). Our food had been prepared at 5 and was sitting on their counter for an hour and a half. It was ice cold when he got home, we had to heat everything up before we could eat it. Would not recommend due to the rudeness of the staff. They won’t receive any more of my money.

This place is a fave of some folks at work. I stop by here from time to time. The chicken nachos are flavorful, tasty and hot. My advice bring friends to eat them. I have tried several of the items and so far my favorite is the Philly cheese steak. They have a nice selection of beers. This place seems to be an after work hang out for the area. There are plenty of TVs on the wall to watch various sports events. So this place has a good local sports bar atmosphere.

I have been coming to this location since the original owners opened it years ago. Since the current ownership took over some time ago this place has been up and down, but the food has been pretty consistent. Unfortunately, recently it has only gotten worse, from the A/C only working in a small section of the restaurant for months, running out of wings (drums), to today they ran out of steak fries and decided to replace them shoestring fries. Obviously ownership either doesn't care about this location or just plan lazy. Going forward I will have to drive pass this location for the original location in Roswell.

I had a really bad experience at this restaurant usually the waiters in this place are great but this time the person basically kicked me out of the restaurant just because she said the restaurant was busy and she didn’t have the time to place my order. She said “if you place the order on Uber Eats that’s ok but I really don’t have the time now to take your order” those were her exact words. To me that is insane, Not sure if the owners know they have employees treating people like garbage.
