Altona Beach Bites

A little bit expensive compared to other places. It's not fish and chips really as you have to buy them separately. $9 for the fish fillet. Then you have to buy chips However I give them credit for the grilled fish filet. It was done to perfection. We bought 2 meals and there was no lemon in them. I went back and asked for a lemon and was told they ran out which was annoying actually. Am not being fussy but a fish and chips shop doesn't run out of lemon suddenly.

The busiest fish and chips shop in Altona Beach. Great location, it’s literally located just across the beach, which is so convenient. There are few outdoor seating in front of the shop. Food quality: We’ve been here for couple of times, and we always get the fish and chips couple pack. To be honest, it’s a decent fish and chips. The fish was crispy on the outside and moist inside. Chips are just alright. Extra sauce is $1 each. Price is good.

Good food, good price and lots of it. We had 3 fish and chips packs with drinks, prices are extremely good and there was enough food that some was left to the dog from all of us (he is a well fed pooch). Strongly recommend for your next beach visit, but bear-in-mind there may be a delay as they get extremely busy. (but is is worth it)

Food: Great range of ice cream Service: Nice and quick! Location: Perfect location right by the beach. Value: Well priced! Not paying Messina prices. Summary: It’s like that coffee van in the park catering to the million joggers. That food truck in the random car park outside a market. It’s one of those no-brainers where supply and demand is high in this situation. This is an ice cream shop pretty much across the road from the beach. Bonus, nice seating area right outside for kids.
