Mcalister's Deli

We stopped on the way to Colorado. We waited for 45 minutes and no food. A family in front of us waited over an hour. Asked for a refund. The manager acted like he didn’t care. I looked back in the kitchen and two of the staff members weren’t doing anything while the orders piled up. I don’t write many negative reviews unless it’s worth writing about. I love McAlister’s and eat there regularly but will not go back to this location. Don’t go here unless they hire new management.

We really wanted Mcalisters for dinner but we're scared away by the posted notices on the doors and windows. It said there would most likely be a 30 minute delay or orders due to staffing. While we are grateful for the notice, we didn't want to chance it taking longer than half an hour. So we went across the street. Unfortunate because I was hoping to eat here and be able to boost the stars/ratings. Maybe next time we pass through they will have enough staff to effectively serve the community.

The food was ok, but the restaurant was filthy and the help didn't care. I took my dad there after church so we were there about 11 AM. Our table was dirty, not with dishes, but unwashed. I asked the food server to clean it. The napkin holder had thick dust on the top and was empty. The restroom was filthy. I will not be back.

My favorite part about McAlister's Deli at both locations are the employees. They are the nicest sweetest people, always very helpful and accommodating. The food it's not top quality but good enough for the price that I've been back a few different times now. They have a soup and sandwich combination that's about $8. You can also get other items for the same price. It's called the Pick Two. Sometimes I get a spud and soup, sometimes a half sandwich and soup. Their sides are only $0.99 each so if I want to increase the nutrition of my meal I add in some broccoli. Their broccoli is excellent. The veggie potato was disappointing. Potato with cheese and bacon or beef is better. Their corn and crab chowder was pretty good and I'm not a big corn chowder fan. Since they're open till 10, this is a place that I will turn to if it's after 9 p.m. or if I'm trying to keep my meal under $10.
