Waffle House

Waffle House is amazing. WH doesn't need any gimmicks like an "all you can eat pancakes" to lure people in for a sub-par meal. Waffle House is great any time of day, for any occasion. This particular day, they were training new staff members and we were STILL in and out in less than 45 min, with a delicious meal, and food left over. I feel sorry for the IHOP next door, because this place is always packed with cool people, and they're always packed with... well, less than that.

Worst Waffle House yet! Stopped in around 5 a.m. on drive home from Dallas expecting a good meal. NOT! Food is cooked on such a high the already thin hashbrowns are either raw on inside or so crispy there's no potato 🥔 left. Sausage Patti wasn't fully cooked. I understand they wanted to finish their shift and leave, but the 2 ladies were not too friendly. Toast was burnt and waffles 🧇 were warm by the time they got to me sitting at the counter just feet away. Correct order wasn't communicated to cook. I'll be trying a different location in the future.

We pulled up in a bus with 25 kids and 8 adults. We gave the staff the option of telling us they couldn’t make it work (there were only three working in there at the time). Instead, they rallied and welcomed us in. They called in extra help and knocked it out of the park. Umatilla Robotics thanks you!

I don’t even know where to start. I will never come back to this establishment again. Me and my family had a employee talk to us in such a rude and unprofessional behavior, I’m dumbfounded. I felt like we were being profiled. She’s an old Hispanic lady with black and grey hair and glasses. She yelled at us for sitting at a open area that wasn’t clean yet and ordered us to leave. Apparently, that is policy according to her and the manager at that location. I never saw any signs posted detailing any of that information.
