907 Alehouse

Dani was an amazing server, very attentive. The tuna was okay. It was a good attempt at sushi grade. Yet it missed the mark 😕 almost like a blood line was served to me, it was somewhat stringy. The poutine was a good suggestion from Dani and she was so right about the gravy. It was NOT like the packet you make in a hurry. "From scratch" fosho. (A bit spicy do be prepared) I would have liked a more liquid cheese with the French fries and gravy tho.. All in all it was decent and the Cider was on point 😁

Decent spot, kinda trashy though. Lower clientelle for some reason. When they first opened, had good vegan options. Last time was there for those options, and instead got rudeness. "It was good an I'm back." Now it seems you have low clientele and low employees. Not even on my radar. Scrolling through maps and realized I should leave a review. Disinclined to return. But not terrible.

This place had such a high potential, but it struck out completely. Service wasn't great. Kind of got the cold shoulder from the serving staff. The place is very loud, which is expected given the environment. But the captions weren't on the TV, so you couldn't hear or read what was going on. The fryer used to fry the chicken needs to have Its oil recycled. It is way past the acceptable amount of use. You could taste the old burnt oil. The chicken was cooked perfectly and if the oil didn't ruin the breading and they used more of their sauce/aoli the sandwich would of been a 9.8 out of ten. However the way I was served it made it more of a 2.5. Seating is pretty good. Menue is small. Vegetables were extremely fresh and the bread for the sandwich was excellent. I would have loved to of had a better experience here because I loved the place with the exception of the service and the dirty oil.

The service was good. The beer selections were above normal. The poutine was terrible. Fries undercooked and pepper added to gravy. Trust me this is a food I would order everywhere except Alaska doesn't seem to have it. Except this place. They still ain't got it lol. I usually only complain if they are closed or something irritated me. You can look. It's rare compared to the reviews. The Buffalo dip. Still a no. Make the dip larger and add chips. You should still give it a shot. The 3 stars is average. Pool tables, beer, friends, location, etc. Thought I took pic of poutine before. My bad.

We ended up here after taking a pass at a 30 minute wait & the big crowd at the Moose’s Tooth. I had been driving past the 907 to drop off our son at work. WHAT A GREAT CHOICE. The service is friendly & attentive. There’s plenty of parking and seating. Their sports bar menu is wide ranging & the draft beer selection is rich with Alaskan beers. The food was v good. We loved sharing the Thai chicken salad which was superb. The halibut in beer battered halibut appetizer had been frozen a while and less than stellar. Overall it was a great lunch.
