Arrive for dinner on a Friday evening and was please to be seated right away even with an almost full restaurant with a beautiful open airy and inviting seating area.
We started with Monkey Brains as our appetizer. It's tempura fried mushrooms with spicy crab and spicy tuna. It was AMAZING, seriously please do yourself a favor and get this app.
I had the House Yakisoba. This was a HUGE plate of noodles with beef, chicken, shrimp, and TONS of veggies. I can't quite put my finger on it but the sauce was delightful and the meat was super high quality.
My partner had the Chef's Mistake Roll. The ingredients were super fresh and you could tell for sure! And the best part for me was that the roll was topped with seaweed salad. Man I love seaweed salad!

The place is pretty relaxing to enjoy a meal at times, the servers were intentive, the food was beautiful and tasted great. The pricing is a bit more then average but it's worth the value of the food. For a spot you mite miss it's a pleasant break.

Service is top quality, atmosphere is pretty good.
I was pleasantly surprised by how the nigiri was made. Very large cut proportions with the right amount of rice not being too much.
The sushi chefs know what they are doing.

Delicious sushi for a reasonable price! Great service – when placing the order, the gentleman I spoke with repeated it back to me to ensure it was taken down correctly and was very courteous. Even though it was dinner time, they were quick (~25 minutes) to get the order (8 rolls) ready for pickup. The go-to place for sushi when I’m Anchorage!

Fresh Fish, Fantastic service. Incredible menu. They are one of the only sushi restaurants who spicy tuna is gluten-free. So this opens up so much of menu. Also the entire staff is trained and knowledgeable about how to navigate gluten menu items. I was incredibly impressed. Phenomenal sushi rolls. Clean open floor plan. Loved it. We definitely will be back.

I have been here before many times and it was a pleasant experience. Although this time was not. I decided to take my friend for the first time. We arrived and waited to be seated. We requested to sit at the sushi bar. We arrived at 9pm and I noticed that they close at 10pm. From the moment that we were seated we were rushed ridiculously by the sushi chef. He kept asking us for our order and we told him that we were not ready yet. A few moments go by and he asks again, so we made a rushed decision on the 4 rolls that we ordered. We received a salad to start with. The salad was great. We really enjoyed the flavors of the dressing. We got our sushi rolls and weren't too impressed. First off the rice was very soggy, all of the rolls were drenched in a miracle whip flavored sauce (mayo?) along with too much unagi sauce. It was not appetizing. The rolls were also cut so big that it made it hard to eat without choking on the soggy rice. Overall the salad was the highlight of the meal. We were out of there in 30 min. As a paying customer, I was very disappointed and embarrassed that I brought my friend here to experience such a let down. You DO NOT rush your customers, no matter what time it is. If it is getting too late and close to the closing time, then stop seating people at a certain time. We felt BULLIED to HURRY UP and get out. Maybe the chef was having a bad day or something but it is still unacceptable. I used to like this place, but I have no reason to return if I'm going to be rushed and the food is not enjoyable.

We always had ordered for takeout and food was always good. Finally dined in for the first time with my in-laws and I felt we were rushed. Got there round 5:30, ordered food in about 10 minutes, received our food in about 10-15, then got our tab shortly after. I had gotten katsu chicken and a dragon talon roll for myself and would've liked to have gotten more time to converse and enjoy it. I've felt rushed and would probably not dine in anymore or at least for a while. Customer experience is what grows a business, not how many tables you can flip in an hour. It may be due to staff shortage, but that's just my excuse for the experience or else they'd get a 5 star review.

Liked the atmosphere, but they were a little short staff so they struggled with timing during the dinner rush however the food was good.
