Pho Lena East

Thought I’d try Pho Lena on the East side of town and now I regret it. Packaging of the food was very lazy AND literally the pad Thai I ordered was so full of oil/sauce that it spilled everywhere. I’ve never eaten a pad Thai where it was oily or spilled like this. Also ordered the yellow curry w/ chicken and felt like I only got about 2-3 pieces of chicken. Thai coffee wasn’t the best either. Don’t think I’ll come to the East Pho Lena again.

Highly recommend not to go. I don't usually write review but when I do, it has to be a whole traumatize. This restaurant has some horrible service, waited 40 minutes for water and food. Imagining not getting water within 10 minutes into a restaurant. And guess what? The broth taste like soap. This experience about to be a whole traumatize every time I eat pho for now on. Worst Pho place in Anchorage.

Customer Service I take it seriously. Tonight I called twice tonight. The first time I called it rang and rang. There was no answer. I called back a second time it rang. I heard Lady pick up the phone. Pho Lena How may I help you. I said like to place an order. The lady was very rude to me. We are open for only 14 more minutes. I told her she didn't have to be rude. I hang up the phone. Your hours say 9:00pm. I don't care if it is 8:59pm you should take my order or don't advertise you close at 9:00pm. My order was simply. Whoever I spoke to need to learn manners. They need lesson in customer service.

Great restaurant! If you need a Viet fix and you don't want to drive far away to get it. This is the best place. It might be the top pho in anchorage but it's definitely consistently good. The restaurant has convenient parking as well as a clean restaurant. The only reason I dinged it a star was because it's not as good(portion wise) as some of the other top Viet places which are a little farther away

I’m only leaving one star cause there isn’t a zero star option…. Pho had only one tiny piece of meat mixed in with my spaghetti noodles in the flavorless broth water…. There were no vegetables (basil, carrots, sprouts, cilantro,etc) and no hoisin or hot sauce…. Just spaghetti noodles in chicken flavored bath water… And the Bahn mi…. Well, if you want a hoagie roll with Mayo and not much else, this is your spot. Nothing about it resembled an actual bahn mi. The only redeeming qualities were the staff who were friendly even though the counter girl was FaceTiming some boy while we were waiting for her to get our food. The end……
