Pho' Vietnam #8

The food was alright. Im having Pho Combo (it taste ok), Fried Tofu (it said on the menu this come with tamarind) but it only come with soysauce so I dont like it at all. I think it was alright over all... Young female server are friendly but the old woman who cashier are not friendly and didnt make me feel welcome by saying "May I help you" instead of Hi, How Many People...

My go-to place is "Pho & Grill" but I decided to try Pho Vietnam #8 and I was not disappointed. The service may be a tad slow as there were many people ordering out, but the food is flavorful & delicious. I ordered #12, the clear noodle seafood soup. There was a lot of seafood in there: 3 large shrimp, 1 large scallop, and a ton of squid; there were also fish balls that had no taste. For those who want to cut carbs out of their diet, the clear, tapioca-based noodle is the way to go. I'm attaching a picture here. I also ordered a tapioca pudding with taro for dessert. Because the owner & 2 staff were so busy I never got my glass of water. I won't strike them for this.

Most unwelcoming, unfriendly and openly rude service I have encountered in the state of Alaska. Just walked in to pick up a to-go order for the first time and was asked my name repeatedly (just me and one other table there btw), was told my order wasn't ready when it was clearly sitting on the counter, was told to "go over there and just wait" (where??), and the middle-aged Asian server actually narrowed her ill-mannered eyes at me and gave me a dirty look when she walked by. The most incredible part was I was so shocked by the entire staff's behavior that I commented about how unfriendly they were and literally no one even batted an eye or said anything. Hated to give these awful people my money. I definitely do not recommend. My guess is they do a lot of delivery because no one would come here and deal with these horrible women in person. Food is overpriced and average taste.
