Delicious drinks and very very friendly staff !! I love coming here. The environment is friendly and there decently fast with getting your order out to you! I try to Tip at least 5 dollars everytime I go in. If your in anchorage definitely stop by here. They have literally every Syrup flavor imaginable!!! Red velvet Latte? Heck yea. 🤤 Irish cream, yes. 🤤 Peanut butter, chocolate, Sour Gummy, Watermelon, White Peach, Rose!! Everything. And there all Delicious. 🥰❤🤤🤤

Absolutely perfect coffee!!! The baristas were super sweet, patient, and aimed to please! They had us taste the coffee prior to leaving the drive-thru to make sure everything was exactly as we wanted. Also, we had never had malasadas before and those were heavenly!!! Thank you so much for the kindness and hospitality! Hope to come back here whenever we're in town again!!!

Ermagerd! What a delight! I've never just walked through a drive thru before, but I was welcomed to (the lobby was closed by my evening visit), and I'm very glad, because this was a fantastic experience. Friendly and helpful guidance from the staff led me to settle on a London Fog - but not just any London Fog, for this one was made with lavender as well as vanilla; I went all out and had it brewed with Half & Half* instead of whole milk. An magnificent blend of flavor: not too rich, just simply siptastic. Perfect for a midsummer's eve. (*Darigold dairy products are amazing - I'm not from the PNW, so getting Darigold is a real treat each time I visit. It's sort of like crashing a Wawa when you're in the mid-Atlantic, except a bit more specific. Suffice it to say, it only made this beverage even better.) My only complaint is that it took me two days of my short stay to stumble across this. Talk about missed opportunities! There's nothing like a good local coffee joint with happy and artful baristas. Usually staff and coffee are wonderful but I got a $7 cold burrito on 1/9/22.... really it was $9 because of the $2 tip. The outside was burning hot but the inside was still frozen. The barista agreed to a credit and I went the following Sunday (on my day off), not a big deal right?? When I arrived they said the owner would have to call me. I ended up paying $6 on 1/16/22 for a 12oz lukewarm coffee. The owner never called me back for a credit. So not going there again, I bought an organic burrito for $3.99 and heated it up correctly this morning.

what an adorable cafe! i'm visiting anchorage for the week from portland, oregon and was on the hunt for a space to relax with some good coffee and work on my novel. my search is over! this is absolutely the perfect spot. cozy, lively, and with a very friendly owner/staff, you really can't go wrong here. if you're in a hurry they have a drive thru, but i do recommend stopping in if you can! the decor has a charming shabby chic vibe, and there are tons of plants in the many windows. oh, and the coffee is lovely. feels like home 💗

We didn't start visiting local coffee huts until after the pandemic began. Our preference was always for sitting in a local coffee shop. But once in-store dining vanished, we had to explore Anchorage's unique drive-thru coffee scene. After sampling widely, it's clear that Aftershock Espresso is the ruler of them all. Why? Lots of reasons! Service is amazing. The baristas are always friendly and helpful with new flavor suggestions. Option are so wide! Aftershock does more than just coffee and Italian soda. They having stunning sparkling lemonades and comforting golden milk. They do keto and vegan and whatever stuff you're into. Their cinnamon rolls are perfect AND they also have Hawaiian donuts!!! Plus, they do offer dine-in seating . . . eventually. Can't wait for this stupid pandemic to blow over.
