Pita Pit

Had a great lunch here today that could have gone poorly if it weren't for the caring staff that heard my husband's joke and asked if I had allergies. I'm allergic to chickpeas (hummus, falafel) but didn't think to mention it. My husband made a joke about getting hummus on mine to which I replied thanks, but I don't want to die today. My food was already on the grill, and the young lady asked if I had allergies. I said yes, she turned to the gentleman behind her and he was already pulling my food off the grill. They had just made a falafel pita before mine. Not only did they make my food perfectly, but they saved me from a trip to the ER. I wish I had caught her name, his was Rob. Great attentive staff over there!!

I've really appreciate Pita Pit for their food, but also their great customer service! I've been to this location, and the couple others in Anchorage a couple dozen tons, and never had a bad experience. They are always patient and happy to help, even when their loyalty app doesn't work at times and there's a line of hunger people behind me. It's on the pricier side, but I really think it's worth it! When you're craving a pita, there's nothing quite like it.

Came in ordered a combo and several other items, staff seemed a little panicked. Got home, my food was missing. Incredibly disappointed. I called and got a refund and a lukewarm apology. I've been here twice and both experiences have been bad, don't bother. Not worth the aggravation for something only marginally better than Subway, and that's not really a compliment.
