Qwik Cup Espresso

I really loved this place, went here for a couple years but had to stop. Something changed where my order stopped being correct over and over again, so I stopped going. Thought I would give them another shot today after months. Ordered a breakfast burrito and it was the complete opposite of what I ordered. Simple breakfast burrito with extra potato. I got a cold tortilla with NO potato and more salsa then egg, bacon or cheese. Watch what you get and make sure they actually do what you ask for. Adding extra potato is not hard and I do not mind paying extra.

I ordered my food at 9:40 in the cafe. I ordered a breakfast burrito and a large hot chocolate. It took about 10min to take my order and I was the only one in line. Very understaffed, there was a 2 employees only. Another customer walked in around 10:05 they ordered drinks and got their drinks right away. Still yet have to get my food or drink. 10:15 I walked up back to the counter and she said that she thought my order was ordered from a telephone call and was waiting for pick up, so my food and drink had been ready for awhile. Same thing happened to the couple before me where she forgot to give them their food. Not a great experience.

I waited in line for about 10 minutes while another customer was behind me also waiting. After the barista finally looks up she takes my order. I made an $8.50 for my meal and was told to pull around back and she would bring my meal out. I waited for another 7 minutes but then became frustrated as the line wait already made me borderline late for work and drove back through the drive through. I finally called out to the barista from the window trying to be calm as humanly possibly as I see my food sitting on the counter resting. I take my food as the barista attempts to apologize for forgetting me and letting me know she was working on an emergency situation. Which I'm ok with, however I should've been notified of this prior to driving around the back of the building waiting almost 20 minutes for a hash brown and 3 slices of bacon. I understand you are not the original "Quick Cup" but but you are a coffee shop and you still use the title "Qwick" even with the different spelling service should reflect that. You've also taken on the same loyal customers and have big shoes to fill and you have fallen short each time I've visited. In fact I usually avoid visiting, but I thought I'd give it another shot today. Bad idea!

Yes, I'm currently prego, just entering my second trimester and today I became suddenly overwhelmed with hunger after an hour and a half meeting. Scared that I'd become nauseous before finding a meal I asked a coworker about any places nearby that I could get some decent food. He suggested Qwick Cup so I go back to my desk and google it of course. I was amazed at the menu choices but didn't have time to be picky so I chose a meal and called it in. I left my job and was able to fill my gas tank, pick up my food (friendly service by the way), and return to work in 15 minutes. Everything looked and smelled great. I was really happy that ketchup was added without me having to ask too. There were no napkins included....but who cares when the food is finger lickin good. I believe I've found my to go spot and I can't wait to try the breakfast. Keep it up Qwick Cup!

New management (Kathy sold it I guess!). I miss the diversity of options. Also the other day, the staff served someone who came into their area from across the street while they made my drink. People were waiting in line. Seems kinda rude! That said, the staff are very upbeat and friendly, and the drinks and food are great.

My family spent 23 years in the neighborhood around Campbell Elementary School, and when my father started working a shift that had him leaving with time to drive me to school in 10th grade, we stopped every morning at this little family-owned coffee booth. Every morning my dad got a mocha with whipped cream, and I got hot cocoa (also with whipped cream, duh). They always were wonderful to talk to, fast, made delicious drinks, knew us by name, and sometimes even had our drinks ready early! I'm sure we easily were tipping half our tab every day. Wonderful memories. :) I'm exceptionally happy to see that they're still around!
