China Garden

We had the steamed pot stickers, then we both has the D-12 with fried rice. Which is Mongolian beef and sesame chicken. One of thr pot stickers I ate was a little cold, but thr rest were fine. The food was delicious. As you can see from thr end of meal pictures they really don't put a lot of crunchy noodles at the bottom of thr beef. A little is good of course. So come alone or with others, enjoy and just have a good time. And Smile!!!

try to check their menu online but couldn’t because you have to register to become a member to just look at the menu to order!!!!! really…. I wouldn’t order from this place if have to become a member to just look at their stinky menu… Be the way, other places, I can take look at their menu before I decide what to order but not this place. More like to collect your data for personal use, that is what I think. Better order from other places if you want to order for takeout or delivery. If there is a no star… this would be one of them.

We haven't had them for a while and we had extra money so I went all out for delivery dinner for us spent 68.00. To my disappointment the food was cold, took well over an hour and 20 mins to get here, the tempura shrimp and veggies looked extremely bad like kitchen scraps.(pictured in photo) They were soggy with oil and gag worthy. The rest of the food was really disappointing as well. I am not eating here again after this experience. Time and money wasted on bad quality food.

No alcohol served here. Limited parking. Plenty of seating. Anchorage has plenty of Chinese food restaurants, but is China Garden worth a visit? China Garden is easy enough to find, but the parking seems very small compared to the amount of tables inside. During my visit the China Garden restaurant was completely empty. There is a bar with a television, but there is no alcohol served here. I had a coke with my meal; I ordered the D-5 "Kung Pao Chicken/Sweet & Sour Pork". My wife ordered the "House Fried Rice". I couldn't finish my meal because the food was extremely salty. I tried my wife's meal and it was also very salty. We asked for to-go boxes and I tried both meals the next day. Sadly both meals were very salty and it appears nothing had changed after 24-hours. If you have a large family, a large group of friends, or if you're planing a party then I recommend China Garden due to the huge amount of space. This was suggested by someone at work during my short trip here in Anchorage. By far the best service i have gotten at a restaurant. The lady that served us was soooo nice and she made sure we were squared away throughout the whole time we were there. She even helped us put our left overs and all! I love the food we got! We ordered the beef bulgogi, short rib soup, and soy bean stew. The food was amazing! The place was so clean and the ambience was perfect in my opinion. Their website did not have the KOREAN food menu and only CHINESE food menu, since the lady said they are new, they only have the korean menu available for dine-in. But i highly recommend this place!!! A bit expensive but i think its worth it.
