Nice, modern Courtyard. Well maintained. Relatively quiet despite the commercial and private airports across the street with frequent small plane traffic (including sea planes.) There are some services within walking distance if you don’t get a car. Really fast shuttle service 24 hours a day. Very friendly staff.

I just spent the better part of 3 weeks in the Anchorage area, with a majority of my time here at the Courtyard Marriott. I can not say enough about how great this place is. It's clean and well taken care of. But, it's the staff that made my time here the best. Mark at the front desk. He is kind, funny and beyond helpful. Grim in the bar. Super funny, kind, and makes a great drink!!! Marilyn in the Bistro. After the first day remember my coffee order - Venti latte with half/half breve style, extra hot. And even the last night Marissa at the front went out of her way to be kind and helpful. This is what makes for a great stay and I will definitely stay here whenever I am in the Anchorage area.

Never ever ever stay here. Twice I have been assigned rooms that were occupied! I feel like I have to baracade the door if I stay here in case the someone might be given access to my room. Complained to manager and they said "oh well". ( Yes, they gave me a new room, but I definitely didn't feel safe.) Not what I would expect for the price and a Marriott property.

The hotel staff was helpful and professional. There is a Bistro Cafe across from the front desk and their food service staff is amazing. Usually, I'm very cautious about customer service workers in Anchorage, because I've read reviews in various businesses where customers were treated awful, forced to be rushed, or some people are just so rude. However, the hotel and cafe staff here were awesome during my stay.

Everyone was incredibly nice. The facilities were perfect (gym/Pool/starbucks!). We had a large group and spent a lot of time in the lobby. All of the workers were so inviting and friendly. Mark, one if the front desk guys went above and beyond. Everything was super clean. And on top of it all, I accidentally left a ridiculously expensive article of clothing hanging in the closet, and didn’t notice I was missing it for weeks, I called and they still had it!! Lanka, one if the cleaning staff called and put it at the front desk for me. Really a great comfy stay. It exceeded all expectations.

The hotel is clean, modern and comfortable, with a beautiful courtyard with flowers and trees (summer). Great place to sit with some greenery and enjoy a drink (summer). The interior has comfortable seating areas as well with a small fireplace. The staff was professional. The location is minutes from the airport with free 24hr. shuttle service. The breakfast is for purchase and average. It is located in an unscenic and unkept but seemingly safe area with some homeless sleeping across the road. There is a McDonald's and convenience store within a short walking distance. I would stay again for business travel.

Do yourself a favor and book a newer hotel in midtown anchorage. We had to check out early and just use our camper because I couldn’t stand to be there another night. I don’t know when any reviews were from good and clean. My stay was far from clean. Stained and burned carpet, tv didn’t work, shampoo and soap was mismatch, no lotion provided, water dried my skin out, my kids pjs were black from the carpet, drug needle out my patio door, smokers at every door 24/7. No posted signage for ALASKA state law no smoking within 20ft. Trash all over the outside. I ran over a glass pipe in the driveway. I’m serious…. Book another hotel.
