Taqueria Los Gabanes

I dropped in for lunch today at Los Gavanes thanks to the recommendation of an Andrews local. I've eaten at several local restaurants now in Andrews and I think Los Gavanes might just be the best. I ordered one grilled chicken taco and two al pastor gorditas. Everything I had was delicioso! I will most definitely be back for more the next time I'm in town. Los Gavanes is a must!!

Small taco joint. I had tacos which were good but my husband was disappoint in the lack of meat that was in his torta after waiting 15-20mins for a order to go and then having to go to the cashier and ask if our food was ready she apologized and said she wasn't sure what we ordered. But our food had been ready which bugged me a bit bc it wasn't like they were busy they only had to tables with people dinning in and us wait near by the salsa bar. We paid $18 for 5 tacos and a torta of not much carnitas.

I never review any restaurants I go to, if I like it I go back and if I don’t I just complain about it to my family and suggest they never go there 😂 But... Taqueria Los Gavanes NEVER disappoints and that is the reason why today I am giving them a review. I’ve had many things on the menu and I’ve loved everything I’ve ever got there! I recommend you try the California burrito, they are huge! It has rice, beans, onions, cilantro, lime and your choice of meat I usually get carne asada. Also the nachos are the bomb!! The customer service is also awesome the ladies there are always super nice!
